Ipswich have some good young players like the youth (or former) internationals Andre Dozzell, Teddy Bishop, Flynn Downes, Tristan Nydam, Dylan Crowe, Ben Morris and Ben Folami that could do a good job at this level in the next year or two. Jack Lankester is also highly promising. Jon Nolan is a good player at this level. Alan Judge has played for Ireland and Emyr Huws has played for Wales. They have the basis of a good squad for League One. Be interesting to see if a certain Mr harisson will get some more game time Linked with Pompey again after they tried to sign him on loan at the end of the January transfer window. www.eadt.co.uk/sport/portsmouth-still-want-town-striker-harrison-1-6072784

Nolan is very good at L1 but they need more like him not just kids. Hope we beat them next season - bad memories of cup defeats from way back :-)

Would like to think we would look to bring him back here if he was available, unfortunately I can’t see it as I think Ipswich will look to him to head their attack next season after the last season he played at this level. Would others welcome him back here if it was a genuine option?

Huws has played over 80 times at Championship level and would have been more if it wasn't for injury. Judge has played 300+ games in the Championship and League One combined.

With Lockyer being linked to them as well recently then they could end up with 3 of our team that started last season. Wonder if Ellis/Locks could end up being an influence on where the other one ends up?

Ipswich will probably have a hard job keeping hold of some of their better youngsters to be fair, especially Dozzell. www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/01/09/report-bournemouth-brighton-and-crystal-palace-tracking-5m-rated/
