When I was kid we used to go to St George’s Park plenty of remote control boats there. Mind you that was 40 years ago, so now it’s probably just full of waterheads and junkies now!

All joking apart, my knowledge of the lake at Eastville park is restricted to running round it every Saturday morning on the Park Run, but I can`t see why you couldn`t use that, any other time of the day.

I take the dog over Portishead quite often, and I'll often see people with their R/C Boats in the lake over there. Could give that a go?

Thank you SSU. At long last a sensible answer! You want the portishead lake grounds nobby. Parking is easy and free. Cafe next door.
