We don't hire amateur comedians we hire 'professionals' although that is debatable with some of our performances over the years! sadly its part of the parcel within his job role to remember that he does represent his employer to thousands of people everyday and silly things like this will attract negative comments. I agree with your sentiments and you are right, but where I disagree is in this particular instance I genuinely see nothing wrong in what he's done. If he had actually posted the picture in the first place, I'd absolutely agree with you. The fact that his response doesn't contain any words, it therefore shouldn't be treated as something that paints himself or the club in a negative light. In my opinion of course, and I do respect your view on it. Like wise, opinions respected both ways but as you can see from the mixed reaction it's probably best he didn't post in on a public media platform. Give it a week and it will all blow over.

Took me five to ten seconds. Perhaps that makes me thick. Lump me in the thick pile as I only understood it after reading these threads and only when Mark replied. Good with spreadsheets though and that pays my bills so ever cloud and all that Similar here I’ve worked in data analytics for a decade. Killer at a spreadsheet and can write extremely complex code. But I can’t understand memes at a split second. Goes to show why you need to be careful with memes. A picture tells a thousand words but can imply a dozen different meanings.

I have worked with spreadsheets pretty much all my working life, complex code wise not so much but I have dabbled in a bit o VBA, so I may bother you in future if i need too

It’s quite common for those with very process driven, tech backgrounds to miss nuance. I work with actuaries and note the same issues. I’d probably choose writing codes over meme interpretation personally, it’s a much more useful skill.

I make memes AND code C++, Python 🤓😎 Bit of a horrible bastard though, so not completely perfect 😜

I f**kin hate them. f**kin type it out and say it, if you want to say something. Don't post a picture of a cat winking at a spoon while some prick does a dance in a top hat on a bouncy castle. Just f**kin type out the words.

Hard to understand why he hasn't been playing. We were so deficient at full back we signed another one in the January window. Yet apparently Little was fit to play. Odd.
