I just been looking for it since my comment just now. Found it. Usually this guy is right. He said this after Little signed.
Thank goodness Brentford released Bonham so that his signing for the Gills could be announced immediately. Imagine if we had to wait till July 1st to hear that a confirmed target of GCs had chosen to go elsewhere. There would have been all sorts of recriminations about scrimping on his contract stalling talks or leaving it too late again etc. Ollie is the lad who is on Radio Bristol on match day ... True Blue for sure!

True Blue for sure! Correct. He's a big fan who has written in the programme for the young pirates for the last few years and travels home and away. Also gets to speak with WAQ more than any of our local journalists!

True Blue for sure! Yes I have heard him on the radio many times post match talking more sense than many other older gashead callers. I was quoting Evely’s point about announcement timings being agreed between clubs and the fact that it doesn’t apply to players released on free transfers. It just so happens that Evely’s tweet was in response to Ollie. I was making no point about the lad himself...more about the toxic atmosphere on these forums off season whenever a known target takes time to materialise (like JJOT) or disappear in a puff of smoke (like Constable).

Seems Little has rattled a few cages with this tweet. Some have taken it for the joke I think it was meant to be. But it seems a lot more aren’t happy about it at all.

He's responded to a tweet with a couple of laughing emojis. Honestly whoever takes issue with that ought to have a word with themselves.

I’m quite surprised myself the amount of responses there are in annoyance over this. It’s really irritated quite a lot.

Daft thing to do, especially when you’re a player that’s only managed 13 League appearances in two years. There’s a touch of an over reaction but he’s been in the game long enough to know that.

Bit silly considering he's not set the world alight in the 10 games he's managed to stay fit for.
being in the limelight is always likely to attract negative reactions when things aren't going to well.

Sorry, what's silly? Why is " ![(rofl)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/rofl.png) " silly? It could be interpreted in any context, irony, laughing along with a mate, anything. I honestly can't see any way that his reply tweet can be seen in a negative light?

Think he needs to remember who’s paying the wages.
He hasn’t exactly done a lot for what’s probably a good level of earnings.

When it comes to your employer, especially if you’re a high profile employee with thousands of followers, most people would err on the side of caution. If it can be taken the wrong way, don’t post it. I don’t come out and reply to tweets where my employer is getting slammed by its competitors customers with stuff like that. If I did, I’d probably get hauled into a meeting room. And that in my eyes would be completely fair.

We don't hire amateur comedians we hire 'professionals' although that is debatable with some of our performances over the years! sadly its part of the parcel within his job role to remember that he does represent his employer to thousands of people everyday and silly things like this will attract negative comments.
