Just listening to U2 - Mysterious ways (or something like that) on the radio and I had to turn it off. Bono has a terrible voice IMO.
I do not know why I'm starting this thread on the brexit section of the forum, but who are your top 3 annoying massively successful 'artists' who's voices you think are sh**.
Yeah yeah I know there's more to them being successful than voice, just concentrate on the voice and one's you think have stolen a living. Ish
1. Madonna 2. Bono 3. Paul McCartney (later years)

IMHO there isn't any good or bad in Art. If people buy it the artist is successful. It's subjective. It isn't about skill, but appeal.

IMHO there isn't any good or bad in Art. If people buy it the artist is successful. It's subjective. It isn't about skill, but appeal. Fairs. /thread |

Madonna has no voice. For live acts, the worst I ever heard was Meatloaf. Truly shockingly bad.

And on the list could go...
That's not to say, of course, that most or some of these weren't great artists. But they didn't have conventionally great voices.
