Hi everyone! As you may have seen, we are absolutely delighted to have received the 'Grassroots Project of the Year' at the Gloucestershire FA awards. It's really humbling to see the work that we do, get recognised by those in Community and it helps us develop and grow. We were awarded this accolade off the back of the work we have been doing for grassroots football over the last year. More specifically, they have been impressed with the progress of our youth and adult disability sessions, the free 'Wildcats' groups that encourage young girls to play football in a fun and safe environment, the work produced by the 'Recovery Through Sport' mental health provision and the recent launch of the Bristol Rovers Women's Team. A big thanks to all of you supporters for their donations and continued support. It really does make a difference! #UTG #4Quarters1Community www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2019/june/community-grassroots-award/

And many congratulations to the brct, what a fantastic achievement and well deserved. It's a shame threads like this that celebrate a wonderful cause under the name of Bristol Rovers get a mere fraction of the attention that other threads about basically nothing.

It's brilliant work in the community like this which differentiates us from that lot south of the river.

Exactly what our club is all about. I'd rather this and non league football than the Championship or Premiership and being a bunch of dicks.
