Let’s not get at each other’s throats, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and not everyone is going to agree with one another. It’s a forum and there is always going to be difference of opinion so let’s all just chill and see how things go over the next 45 games UTG Exactly right. If people have a problem with people expressing a negative opinion then either tolerate it or put the poster on ignore. You said the performance is pathetic. Seeing as you didn't watch it, nor attend, how did you come to that conclusion? I'm questioning on your basis to judge a performance, when you didn't see it. Again , why do I need to tell you how or where I watched / listened to the game ? What difference does that make ? I will say what I want and that was pathetic. How can you say it was pathetic w/o watching or listening to the game, it's even too early to have read any match reports? If OC had scored and our goalie had conceded a soft pen, would us winning 1-0 at half time have been pathetic? We're missing a striker worth £1m/2m which is bound to make a difference. The two FB's look good going forward, Bennett was MotM, the two new strikers looked lively, so things are improving. |

Pretty much exactly the same as last years opening game! Loosing to a better team who are likely to be up there chasing the play offs while we struggle to create anything and look weak up front.
Our midfield is exactly the same so don’t expect us to create anymore than last season.
A couple of on loan strikers who haven’t scored many at this level. Although Little looked quite decent and I would like to see him up top with JCH (who we need back ASAP!)
Davies looks like a younger version of Tony Craig, we will miss Lockyer and any pace we had. Therefore, we will concede more goals than we did last season.
The two full backs look decent and at least can cross the ball better than the majority of our past full backs (although that’s no exactly hard!)

It started so positive, good play, fruit market & a kit most love. Concede a penalty & suddenly Wael is lying about top 12 budget & the keeper isn't good enough As regards the budget Wael said it was a budget that complies with FFP rules. I did not hear him say it was a top 12 budget, Twentyman confused the issue when asking Wael about what position in the table would he be happy with and he said they were aiming for top half. I think that is where the confusion/ rumours come from. He said it was the max it could be under FFP. |

A couple of late efforts may have improved that statistic. 58% possession is also pathetic I suppose. Both off target and you can have as much possession as you like but the only stat that really matters at the end is we lost 2-0. If that's the only stat that matters then don't quote others. |
