A draw tomorrow followed by beating Wycombe would give us a much needed and missed good start to the season.
We always seem to hit that 8-10 game part of the season in a bit of trouble it would be great if we’re looking at the table in October and we’re top half.
Small steps , and important to set off on a good one.

Woke up ten minutes ago and went straight to this thread. God I’m excited. I’ve got that mildly euphoric feeling mixed with anxiety and I’m ever so slightly nauseous. Will no doubt be checking back every fifteen minutes or so until kickoff. Might need some “rescue remedy”, or something stronger, to get me through to five o’clock. How pathetic is that, but how brilliant is it that supporting the Gas can make you feel so alive. UTG.

Hope for good start to season but league wont be won tomorrow, relegation wont be sorted, nor play offs, but coaches(and of course us lot)will have a better idea of where we are as a squad, personally I reckon we are fine and are more than capable of positive start to our season, So come on Rovers, team , fans and all, lets all be positive and get some early points on the board, -Blackpool 1-2 Rovers!! Tomlinson appears to be in the Matchday Squad. On his Instagram Story he has posted a video of a hotel in Blackpool. Hope so - reckon we’ll see him coming on for the last 15/20 mins in games if we’re pushing for an equaliser/winner. Offers something a bit different from our other midfielders. Would that be creatively? |

Sorry guys, feeling pessimistic about this one.
Perhaps because it’s an away game and we usually don’t do well on the first day of the season. Perhaps because it doesn’t feel like going forward we’ve changed too much.
Also, because it’s away and I’m not going, it doesn’t really feel like the start of the season yet.
2-0 loss I reckon.

Just paid for a season of ifollow.
Just looking forward to a few months of broken sleep on a Saturday night / Sunday morning now.
Might watch the first session of the cricket and get a couple hours sleep.

I would be happy with a draw to be honest . I can see this being a tight game quite edgy ending in a 1-1 draw , with Clarke scoring for us.

I've a good feeling about this game and this season generally. .... I'm going for a narrow gas win (either 2-1 or 3-2) and a solid season where we finish top 10 minimum (heart says in playoffs head says just outside)......
Then again I've always been an optimist!!!
