Sorry guys, feeling pessimistic about this one. Perhaps because it’s an away game and we usually don’t do well on the first day of the season. Perhaps because it doesn’t feel like going forward we’ve changed too much. Also, because it’s away and I’m not going, it doesn’t really feel like the start of the season yet. 2-0 loss I reckon. Agreed, hope I’m wrong but I’m going to stand by my pre-season prediction based on our struggles to create chances in friendlies. A fairly comfortable 1-0 or 2-0 defeat with our forwards isolated and not really in the game. In addition Blackpool will be pumped and there is a likelihood that starting a new era at home in front of a bumper crowd they will simply ‘want it more’. I’d bite a hand off if it offered me a draw right now. |

I would be happy with a draw to be honest . I can see this being a tight game quite edgy ending in a 1-1 draw , with Clarke scoring for us. Yes, I’d settle for that as well. Either Nichols and Adeboyejo to score would be even better, give confidence. UTG! It would be amazing if Nichols scores 😊 |

I believe we have the players in the squad to get something out of the game, but I think the likely selection will be very similar to that which played Plymouth last week, so I think it will be a 1-0 or 2-0 defeat.
I believe we need two goal scoring strikers on the field from the start and must to go for the jugular with pace and commitment.

For pre atmosphere i would expect most of your guys to be in the Manchester... Or outside as lovely and warm today. How many home fans you expecting, today? I was there this morning still a big queue.. I would be disappointed with less than 11k.. I would think 12k ish |
