I'm not sure why people are happy it's being reported in the BP? Surely it would have been better for any deal to be concluded without the prying eyes of all and sundry all over it? Well Wael seems to be the one who has sparked this all off....question is why did he mention the fruit market site if it was someone else's plans and not DS behind it. Comment on your own plans, fine, but to bring the plans of a 3rd party to light seems like a power play on his part and must make negotiations over the sale of the club very difficult now. Intentionally difficult? The 3rd party now may face a bidding war for the site now the offer has been put into print. Is this all goes tits up as usual it will be the club that suffers most. |

How has this turned into a supposed mafia-style deal? Or this is just how big business deals work? I wish there weren't actually so many whistle blowers, I'd be in blissful ignorance now...but I just can't stop logging onto this forum!! I was just down the Mem, and I saw Wael being bundled into a black limousine, wearing cement boots, and someone's dumped a horse-head in the centre circle. Did you punch it? |

Reading between the lines Wael/dwayne sports realised they made a mistake buying Rovers and have been looking to off load it for a considerable time. There now is a potential buyer that has basically been outed by Wael's radio interview. If it doesn't come off we could be up the creek without a paddle. Wael has come out of this looking like a Charlatan.

Reading between the lines Wael/dwayne sports realised they made a mistake buying Rovers and have been looking to off load it for a considerable time. There now is a potential buyer that has basically been outed by Wael's radio interview. If it doesn't come off we could be up the creek without a paddle. Heard this rumour ages ago. He has put no quotes on the article and has not said where he heard it. He's just posted the rumour, but is a few months behind everyone else lol.

Either way why the hell would Wael mention a 3rd parties intentions.. such a weird thing to do especially if as reported negotiations are actually ongoing. It would only spark a bidding war or additional interest in the fruit market. If he wants out, as keeps being stated, he should keep his mouth shut during negotiations (ironically with the lack of communication that comes out of BRFC). |

An incompetent and unfit president yes, but I never had him down as snide - which is what leaking a 3rd party's plans amounts to. I hope there is no Machiavellian intent behind it because it could obviously be disastrous for the future of the club. |

This may have reversed any progress made if there was any in the first place. Full publicity of things like this surely can't be good, and hopefully if there were good things happening behind the scenes, they have just been thrown into the fire. |
