I agree but i think we are being premature of even thinking of the championship right now as we have the bulk of a leaky league 2 promotion 3rd spot team and do not know how they will do, in league one and without the star that helped us massively , Billy. Hoping we challenge but my head says mid to just under in first season BUT i could always be wrong and itโs just my opinion. We would not get away with pressing many of the long term league 1 sides and there is a fair old gulf between leagues 1 and 2 That were one of the top form teams in the whole of English football in 2022 and had won 3, drawn 1 in January before Billy had even joined. Yes, it's a different level now, but I think you should give the team more credit than that KP. Just being realistic rather than letting myself get into what maybe

Attachment DeletedVale were offered to share but understandably declined.Stoke's old - demolished in 1997- Victoria Ground was far superior to anything we have ever owned and that was well over 25 years ago.Saw us win twice on the trot there.4.1.Cureton 3 and Jason Roberts and the following season a late winner from Mark Walters.

Only a couple of weeks to go and this thread will be three years old on this particular stadium dream.
How that compares to past threads of a stadium at Severnside, Keynsham, Horfield, Hambrook & UWE remains to be seen.
Wondering if the clubs historian will consider a new historical book, called Rovers stadiums drawn up and discussed between 1986-2022.
Seems to be enough material to make a book by now.

Seems to be enough material to make a book by now. That sounds like a good question for Mastermind, although you've missed out Carsons Rd? Have Conygar made a statement yet? Nothing but I assume if talks have ended w/o any agreement being reached then they are not obliged to make a statement? Not sure how any announcement will be made if they have reached an agreement and it includes a stadium?

If the project is down the pan I wouldn't expect them to go public until after the new shirts have been released along with other merchandise. They'd want to maximize season ticket sales too.

The way the club has handled the stadium situation is a public disgrace!

The problem is those damned landing lights for the UWE. Since Hamer turned them on no one has switched them off and with the steep rise in energy costs the last leccy bill has scuppered any chance of paying our part for a fruit bowl.

The way the club has handled the stadium situation is a public disgrace! The way to hell is littered with NDA documentation.

Hang on a minute hasn't thar been the business plan since 1980 ๐ Of course, but this time they're building on a surge in popularity from the 'miracle at the Mem' when we thrashed an already relegated youth side.

Just watching Italy/Belgium women Euros. Its sad when you think we'll never build a stadium as nice as Man City's training ground.

Surely itโs better to be really fkin disappointed once, than to be a little disappointed every day for the last 3 years. Mods please lock this thread. I go to the Mem for Footy and Eden Park for facilities.

Wael has failed dismally on his promise of a new stadium! Maybe you're being a bit premature with that comment?

Wael has failed dismally on his promise of a new stadium! Previous chairs of the club failed, Wael is still here and has invested more money into the club than all previous owners put together.
