Which other clubs playing in a prosperous, growing, large City like Bristol have gone the other way, possibly just Notts C but they've always firmly been in Forest's shadow. It seems pretty clear given our recent sell outs if we had a new stadium we would be more, not less, successful. At least Notts C have a decent stadium. And we’re last in the 1st division the season before the Prem started |

Notts County only got tiny crowds during their brief stay in the top flight. |

I was answering the point that we are at the same the level, so clubs have changed. Does not matter where they come from. We are not the only club in the City. Moaning about competing with teams like FGRs etc. But we are also competing with teams like Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich, Sunderland were at this level for ages. We need a stadium. But the point is, we are currently at the level we have spent most of our excistence, who ever we are playing. Not sure we're competing with the likes of Sheff Weds, we just happen to be in the same division as them and in all likelihood they'll be back in the Championship soon or later. Meanwhile we're just bouncing between L1 and L2 and that's costing Wael £m's each season, without his cash injections we could well be bouncing between L2 and the National League. They are in the same league and it's their 2nd season in it already. How long were Sunderland in it for?? All teams are competing this season. Charlton, Derby, Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday etc can't all go up! So at least some of them will still be in League 1 next season. |
