Appreciate the sentiment. But I want to see Bristol Rovers be a successful club in the future, not just having something to do on a Saturday and be another team taking part. I think why not us, why can't Rovers do what Brighton, Bournemouth, Swansea and others have done. I want us to progress and be better than ever as well. Was just making the point that clubs have gone the other way. Which other clubs playing in a prosperous, growing, large City like Bristol have gone the other way, possibly just Notts C but they've always firmly been in Forest's shadow. It seems pretty clear given our recent sell outs if we had a new stadium we would be more, not less, successful. |

Even Sam Frost's weekly Q&A didn't sound that positive, with still no news from Conyger Investments to report. More smoke has been added to the already most smokey of smokescreens! Cant wait until the smoke clears as the players run out on our new 30k stadium for the first time. |

Does not matter where they come from. We are not the only club in the City. Moaning about competing with teams like FGRs etc. But we are also competing with teams like Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich, Sunderland were at this level for ages. We need a stadium. But the point is, we are currently at the level we have spent most of our excistence, who ever we are playing. |

Not sure we're competing with the likes of Sheff Weds, we just happen to be in the same division as them and in all likelihood they'll be back in the Championship soon or later. Meanwhile we're just bouncing between L1 and L2 and that's costing Wael £m's each season, without his cash injections we could well be bouncing between L2 and the National League. |

Superb now.Fab stands on all four sides.Thought they might make it this time but the play-off ritual in the National league now is very weird and complicated and they didn't make sadly. |

TG was interviewed by him before the match on his Saturday Sport, I'm pretty certain there was no questions about the need for a new stadium, although I need to listen to it again to be certain. Wael's clearly going to avoid any local media interviews until the FM/Conyger Inv news breaks one way or the other. |
