I fail to see what is so fantastic about Bristol City's stadium. It would be among the smallest in the Premiere League if the club were to attain promotion. The stadium looks very ordinary to me. I hope Rovers have a much better stadium in time! UTG. Each to their own I suppose. I for one am prepared to accept that they now have a fantastic ground thanks to their benefactor. The Lansdown stand itself holds 11000 plus executive boxes and a hospitality suite that seats 800 or 1000 for other events. That puts our present capacity into some perspective.

can't we just get rid of this ***g thread and get on with concentrating on the important thing, football. There are a few other clubs that have poor grounds in the EFL, I bet they don't have 600 pages of dross discussing how crap their ground is and what is or isn't going to be done about it. The difference is they have either built or improved them or not. They haven't been led down the path, more than once, of being told a new stadium is essential and is on the way, whilst doing nothing of any significance to their current home. And that's not just a dig at Wael. We have suffered under other owners in the same way. What do you seriously expect when we are told stadium plans are afoot? Just ignore it and concentrate on who we might be getting on loan from Chelsea for one season, or if a yellow card last week was justified? The whole future of the club and the football you want to concentrate on depends on this. A generation sloshing round in L2/L1 or a push for the Championship? And you want to get rid of this ****g thread? Enjoy your pasty. Absolutely. Wael hinted that we were looking at a site 3 years ago now. The club is going to continue to languish in league 1 and 2, struggling against teams we wouldn't have even considered competition, FGR, Salford, Fleetwood, Burton, teams that struggle to get any supporters. To unlock our potential on and off the pitch, we need a new ground.

Lie being the word where stadium talk is concerned! What were your thoughts on the game Saturday? Did your Season Ticket Card work ok? I think we all know this poster is not a Rovers fan. Just an internet bore. Anyone with interest in the gas would post about other things whatever their opinion on the stadium.

I’m working down by the fruit market today, I’ll just ask them straight if the stadium is happening and get an answer for us all.

My son's football team hired the Teds ground for a tournament. Regrettably I have to say it is very impressive. I'd be delighted if we got something even close to what they have (the stadium, not the team!!!)

So if we are playing teams that we wouldn't have considered competition, then they must have replaced teams that we used to consider competition! As we still have 23 teams to play in the league every season😂. Think how those clubs feel. We are where we nearly always have been. Other clubs have dropped down. It's easy to look just at one side and pick it the clubs that suit your argument.

But I want to see Bristol Rovers be a successful club in the future, not just having something to do on a Saturday and be another team taking part. I think why not us, why can't Rovers do what Brighton, Bournemouth, Swansea and others have done.

And of course some of our old rivals have been replaced by the newer teams but some of our rivals have had new grounds and moved on, upwards. Reading, Brighton, Bournemouth, Swansea, Brentford, even Bristol City, spring to mind. All teams we've beaten since the Millenium but clubs that we might not be playing again for years. They built new grounds and progressed I’m sure we could. I’m sure there are other clubs I’ve missed out. So it works the other way as well to suit the argument. I think we should aspire higher. UTG!

I've been there for a concert, it's good. Steady on Tilly. The police on here will be on your case for visiting the gate. I'll join Tilly on the 'Me Too' movement. Watched the Gasman in a professional fight on his way to getting a pop at a British title, which sadly didn't work out. Belting out Irene as Dwayne walked in wearing the quarters as per usual, then noticed the table next to us were the big lumps from Trojan Fitness in Ashton, that was an interesting moment! As for the hall itself, huge of pictures of past C#ty greats such as Sir Ian Botham and Daley Thompson, there were more athletes pictures, they seemed to have as much identity in that room as they do in the kit and nickname....

Even Sam Frost's weekly Q&A didn't sound that positive, with still no news from Conyger Investments to report.

Love or Hate the Ted's, they have a fantastic Stadium...... What the F##k have we got. Sadly we look Non League to them. Sorry. I just had to get it off my chest. We need action and we need it now ffs, I can't afford it' but somewhere there is someone who can deliver. Just won't happen in my lifetime sadly We do look non league to them in terms of the stadium. However, we have more soul in one blade of grass than they have in the entire Lansdown stand. I think we will move on from the Mem soon, but we'll miss it. It'll be just like the song - you don't know what you got til it's gone. Big yellow taxi- Joni Mitchell
