I guess one thing to factor into rebuilding the Mem, is that unless we move somewhere whilst it's being done, it would I assume mean reduced capacity for 4 years whilst we do one stand at a time? You sense it would be easier and cheaper just to flatten the whole ground and rebuild it in 2 years.

Interesting that Conygar Bristol Limited who are behind the St Phillips development was incorporated in November 2022 and Robert Ware whose name has been mentioned in the past on this thread joined the board of directors of that company just last week. That's a good spot as it was incorporated after the exclusivity period with the FM ended, so it probably means a deal has been agreed with them, whether it includes a stadium is another matter. Robert Ware (no relation to Ed Ware) is CI's CEO, Chris Ware (looks like possibly his son?) is also a Director of both companies. The major Nottingham development is due to be completed in 2024, so will they then move on to the Bristol development when that's finished?

I believe the FM has now been sold. Whether Rovers are party to the deal remains to be seen. UTG.

Can't recall an offical press release from the market shareholders confirming the sale of the fruit market site. Do you have a link?

You know there is no official press release from fruit market shareholders. Why would there be. The post reported a deal had been agreed however in Dec21 so it’s nothing new.

The company accounts for Total Produce don't mention a sale, although they lag behind just as ours do. There's nothing on Google confirming it's been sold. The last mention was December 21 saying it was imminent.

I wish they just get on with it and announce the actual plans for the site, it is getting boring now. Disappointed that everything is so secretive, nothing from the club make me think we aren't involved.

I don’t think another temporary stand is an indicator of the FM being dead yet.

Conygar or their land brokers and deal makers ? The site now looks to be going ahead sans a stadium. Firm has a french sounding name and sounds like another, who make wine. Starts with an L
