Another £100 million for the Mayor of South West to spend on Bristol Mass Transit. Let’s hope it’s spent wisely.

The X account sent out around 50 tweets/retweets yesterday and they were clearly watching the match yesterday. I assume at the ground rather than on iFollow, given that they mentioned the medical incident in the away end.
I'd be surprised if just a regular fan spent that much time & effort tweeting whilst watching a game.

Just a thought regarding emails, way back before forums were a thing, there was a group called the "Gas list" which was a group of Gasheads that communicated via emails. (BRFC board members included) If Gasburner was part of the "Gas List" he would possibly still have access to the email addresses of those members and if you still have the same email address as back then, that might be why you received an email. Like I said, just a thought...... I was part of the Gas list and I didn't get one

I would be surprised if the club allowed a 3rd party access to fans personal email address details unless those fans had given consent. Me too, if this is non compliancy of GDPR then big fines are applicable. Could be applicable on paper. In reality no eyelid is being batted apart from major data breaches from big companies. And there is absolutely zero evidence this has anything to do with the club anyway.

What would they gain ligating against a Twitter account holder, if not like they are suing The Sun or Mail online etc? Although it does now seem GB as access to the club's email data base so is unlikely to be just a Twitter account holder, unless TG's handed also the db over when he gave his interview! I think you missed the point *again* You said: "I doubt an NDA would hold much weight with a random twitter account holder, the club couldn't really do a lot if they broke the NDA." My response was about the fact it could be enough to shut the twitter owner up. "Although it does now seem GB as access to the club's email data base so is unlikely to be just a Twitter account holder" I haven't received anything, as a season ticket holder I am on the Rovers database. Just as possible that GB could be a Mod on here, with access to email addresses. However, again I'm on that list but not been emailed. The list I am probably not on is the supporters club database. Maybe that has something to do with it...? The fact that it went to my junk folder would support that as I have forum replies set to go there, from both places as I try to keep my e-mails in decent order with the important stuff coming to my inbox. You could be right.

As is evidently clear Rovers have an ageing fan base and the club are not having the success which will entice the future generations to follow. I fear the eternal wait for a new stadium will come to late for many older supporters and interest waning considerably! Not hearing anything from the new owners is a public disgrace.

Meanwhile, while we’re arguing about a stand Oxford have unveiled plans for a new ground. if Oxford’s new ground is built the bottom line is that our inability to build a new ground is pretty pathetic whatever the excuses or reasons might be. They will have had two new grounds and we might have just about built a temporary stand by that time. UTG! www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-oxfordshire-67052207Edit: just posted this on the New Stand thread but might be better here. Mods please amend if needed.

Yes it is, very near the train station just off Kidlington, a bit like Brighton, outskirts of the city with a great bus network to it as well. Very expensive area for the land, they have done well. To get planning it’s 16,000 for now, they can’t go over this but once built they can apply for 18,000.

I wouldn’t be that happy if I was an Oxford fan . Ps isn’t all land pretty expensive around Oxfordshire?
