In this build up episode Tom Metcalfe chats with Wycombe fan Dale in the build up to Saturdays encounter at The Mem. The last game at The Mem saw Wycombe come away with all 3 points after skilfully employing the dark arts of feigning injury, time wasting and niggly fouling. The two teams come into this game with contrasting fortunes after Rovers slumped to a 2-0 defeat away at Blackpool. On the other hand Wycombe won 2-0 at home against a Bolton side that only had 3 senior pros in the squad. They talk Akinfenwa, players to watch, the dark arts, JCH and most important of all; what the away beer tent holds for the Gas later in the season. listen.gascastpodcast.co.uk/276671/1507768-build-up-wycombe-wanderers-h

Astonishingly frank admissions about the style of play, dark arts, "shithousery" that Wycombe employ.
Interesting that their fans accept it and take the "win at all costs" stance - I wonder how well that'd go down here? Redundant question since we haven't got anyone with an ounce of creativity.
Good show though, I fear we won't enjoy Saturday much, especially if we go 0-1.
