If we had taken a minimum of 4 points from the first 6, I’d be all for a few of the young fringe players getting starts, but I really don’t think this is a game GC can afford to lose. Cheltenham will have their tails up and really fancy their chances tonight.
Playing safe, going strong with hopefully a more attacking midfield from the off and getting into the second round draw will do wonders for confidence going into a tough weekend away fixture.
Messing around at home Vs lower league opposition in the cups isn’t wise when the goals aren’t flowing. See Barnet at home last season, in what was ultimately the beginning of the end for Darrell.

I’m going purely because it’s cheap and I couldn’t make Saturday, got a bad feeling, have Cheltenham got any ex-Gas players? Not Gas, but someone said they have 2 sheds on loan? |
