On a positive note. Kilgour looks good. And all GC's signings other than Leahy have been decent in my opinion. The only thing I might say is does Ogogo offer us any more than Sinclair? I don't dislike him though in the right team. Our midfield balance is poor though.

We would have gone a goal down much earlier without his block. He's being exposed by this crap narrow system. He's crap. Like JCH was crap last season when he missed a penalty - one of our "supporters" even wanted him sacked. I'd rather give Leahy a bit more time before I join the lynchmob and hunt down our latest scapegoat. |

Can anybody work out what our midfield is supposed to be doing, we seem to have 3 defensive CM's with Bennett isolated at the top of the pyramid.

Let’s not just single out Leahy , GC assembled this unbalanced squad and they can only try their best , the vast majority of this team right now is awful. Hopefully still time to bring in the necessary recruits. Time yes. Money? Probably not |

I think what was being said generally was give him a chance and not write him off before he'd even played for us just coz the fans of the team he was leaving slagged him off. Pretty sensible advice, really. But you would think they had seen him enough to inform an opinion? Should Tranmere fans have ignored us about Payne? It's nothing to do with us whether we sign anyone. We can either back them or not. A bit weird to make up your mind based on what other fans say. You can think to yourself, uh oh those fans don't really rate him, I wonder if this will prove to be a poor signing, I hope not. Or you can just post that he's sh** coz Walsall said. I'm going with the former. |

We’re pretty much already in the brown stuff , nothing seems to of changed from our near miss last season. Right now it looks like another season of trying to stay in the division, time to change things though fortunately. |

You could congratulate those who have traveled, it’s School holidays, money is tight for lots of people and football is about to die as we all know it. The Premiership and VAR will see to that. Barely 7k for our first home game of the season. Our crowds are going down full stop. My point was that this notion that Gasheads are so loyal and "Faithful and True" is absolute nonsense. In my lifetime since the later 80s if we had crowds of 6k we were lucky, we are where we are and people aren’t going to go pay and watch in that stadium first game of the season and get soaking wet with kids. Entertaining football would help bring people back. I’ve never claimed to be loyal faithful and true, I took a break under Atkins as I detested the man, and it gave me Saturdays back. I now pick and choose games due to work commitments and wanting to spend time with my children. |
