If I was Coventry manager I would say target the wings. We have a narrow formation with 2 full backs. 1 who is inexperienced at this level and the other who is just useless.

We were also told to not listen to Walsall fans. I think what was being said generally was give him a chance and not write him off before he'd even played for us just coz the fans of the team he was leaving slagged him off. Pretty sensible advice, really. And now I've seen him. I can only back up their comments. So where do we go from here clever clogs? |

Poor showing so far too narrow not tracking their players giving them far too much space and our attacking intent consists of booting it forward usually by the keeper. Too often we are facing our own goal with the ball and losing possession too easily. Worst thing is they are no better but we are making them look like they are. Big half needed and has to pick up significantly to get anything from this

Awful, that is probably the worst half I have ever seen us play. Haven’t held on to the ball for more than 10 seconds. 0-1 is a let off. UTG Encouraging feedback, not! Sounds worst than Wycombe then and that was effing dire. Do fear for the Gas this year. |

You could congratulate those who have traveled, it’s School holidays, money is tight for lots of people and football is about to die as we all know it. The Premiership and VAR will see to that. Barely 7k for our first home game of the season. Our crowds are going down full stop. My point was that this notion that Gasheads are so loyal and "Faithful and True" is absolute nonsense. Agree that at the moment the crowds are dropping, a little bit harsh that last sentence though |

Players arguing amongst themselves walking off ... Shame as it’s been a half decent performance ...Alfie and Davies looking good. Bennett ... poor and niggly Leahy... FFS get him off ! Sercombe floats in and out of the game. Ollie C ain’t great but he is Captain ... poor Choi mace by GC We are genuinely a couple of players away from being a decent side. Half decent? It's been awful. Players hung out to dry by a dinosaur manager who plays narrow hoofball. |

Let’s not just single out Leahy , GC assembled this unbalanced squad and they can only try their best , the vast majority of this team right now is awful. Hopefully still time to bring in the necessary recruits.

Blatant push for the second header. These ones are tough to call. I had my gf watching with me for the first half (she's now gone off for a nap 😂) and she was asking why it wasn't a foul. It's a weird one, all the rules say it is a foul but for some reason a little nudge is never given. Either way, terrible from Leahy & shocking defending when the ball came into the box. Nice finish though tbf |
