that is as bad as i ever witnessed from a Rovers team. The fear in their faces tells me everything i need to know
GC is a Chuffing bully and that man needs to be on a one way trip back to Dublin

Personally and despite GC saving us from relegation I can only say that I am still on the fence with the decision made in making him the Gaffer. I don't dislike him but I'm not overly filled with confidence either. Just my opinion though! Dennis Rofe comes to mind |

Our scouting is bollocks, let’s be honest. Okay JCH was a find, fair play, but the rest are not good value for money. If we get rid of GC the problem still remains that we can’t seem to get XI decent players together, they are mostly crap. I think we may need to go backwards to go forwards to establish a long term identity to the club. But fat chance of that when you are run by people who don’t want to be here. I agree. I thought this was all being sorted when DC was in charge and Weal and co signed all these people to different roles at the club.Why else is our wage bill so high? Its going to be a long bumpy ride back to shore when the captain of our ship (the owners) does really want to go to the same coastline that our club and fans need. AFAIK the money went on analysts and masseuses. I think TW’s record has been very hit and miss so if it were me I’d be looking to get in a credible chief scout and overhaul the scouting network and put most non-playing resources towards that with the rationale being if we’ve go no money let’s make sure we are on top of all the diamonds in the rough at conference level. Easy to say though as I don’t know the first thing about what would actually involve, I admit. |

He can’t win can he? He picks a side we all look the like of, and even then it’s clueless and woeful when we lose.
Personally I’d like to see him given time, this midfield isn’t his and anyone else coming in will face the same problems! I’m sure if you sat him down and spoke in confidence, he’d readily admit Sercs, Nichols Rodman Bennett and Upson are not performing nor would he have them if his choice!
He has been dealt his cards, but unfortunately for him I think he’s a dead man walking with our fans who are not prepared to give him time to mould his own team.
That will take well into next season.
I’m going on Tue with my boy and will get right behind them as a toxic atmosphere now could destroy this team and that’s not what being a gas head is about!
Sure have a moan tonight but get behind them at home as we need all the help we can get! It’s going to be a relegation scrap, bring it on, UTG!

I thought pre-season we were heading for 46 0-0 draws. Well - at least I'm getting half of that prediction right. Not for the first time we talked ourselves up during pre-season. Then reality came calling. Managerial skill and recruitment both not good enough, unfortunately. |

With respect he had half of last season with DC’s team and it was ugly (if somewhat effective) then. After having pre season to bring in his own players we find ourselves worse at the back and shorn of our top scorer. This is where his managerial skill is paramount to grind out some results. As it turns out we have simply ended up with the worst of his tenure last season (crap football) without the good bits (JCH and the defence). Should have been thanked, given a decent bonus and sent on his way after the last game of last season. |
