He can’t win can he? He picks a side we all look the like of, and even then it’s clueless and woeful when we lose. Personally I’d like to see him given time, this midfield isn’t his and anyone else coming in will face the same problems! I’m sure if you sat him down and spoke in confidence, he’d readily admit Sercs, Nichols Rodman Bennett and Upson are not performing nor would he have them if his choice! He has been dealt his cards, but unfortunately for him I think he’s a dead man walking with our fans who are not prepared to give him time to mould his own team. That will take well into next season. I’m going on Tue with my boy and will get right behind them as a toxic atmosphere now could destroy this team and that’s not what being a gas head is about! Sure have a moan tonight but get behind them at home as we need all the help we can get! It’s going to be a relegation scrap, bring it on, UTG! Don't agree, dropping Craig, are people mad. People massively under appreciate the guy. The defenders need experience at the back. The 4 today have hardly played league football. Midfield is a shambles, the one area that really really needed recruitment, and how many players have we signed zero. Other than Nichols, who has had enough chances we are fine up front front, Victor JCH and Moore should be our first 3 choices. Now I don't know what is going on at the club, if there is room for more signings, but I would urge us to go out and sign some players at all cost to strengthen our midfield. GC not doing as he promised last season, he delivered a hard to beat team last season, but so far we are easy to beat with no attacking threat. Up to people at the club to sort it all out.. don't blame the board, but we have signed defenders when we needed midfield and attackers. Surely that was obvious after last season.

THIS FORMATION IS NOT WORKING!!! CHANGE FORMATION!!! Dont think any formation will work, its the personnel that is the problem. Too many players not good enough....again. The players are good enough IMO. We have the personnel to play with width and to be able to adapt as a situation fits. Unfortunately, the manager is one dimensional in his approach.

Look it’s a poor start but I think we should breathe a bit before we sharpen any knives! Posters are saying he had all summer but we can’t afford to bring in players to replace Sercs, Clarke, Benno Rodman Nichols as they are under contract and who would want them? I forgot Upson.
We will need patience this season as it’s a new squad and one that is no longer a core of our promotion ones. We are one of 10 teams who will fight to avoid the drop.
I for one will be backing him to get it right.

I said before the season started we will struggle with this squad and that was without knowing the formation that would be used. Poor recruitment imo.

Coughlan - "I'll have to go and have a think if I'm being a bit too gung-ho away from home." If that's what he said after today, he had better go now. Yep, that was in his post match interview, just after we'd played a full 90 minutes without forcing the opposition goalie into making one decent save.

I think the frustration breeds from the fact we can all see the issue in the team. Lack of creativity, width and pace, yet he hasn’t addressed this. Maybe he hasn't addressed this because he's wanting us to get top players rather than settle, like we did for Payne. Or he is looking for players like Leon Clarke on 28k a week who we will never afford.... The further into the window the more you pay, quite simple.

If the players were confident I think they may be adequate, they’re not and they aren’t...but give it a couple of months and they may be. The manager needs a little more time, we’re in a poor league with only two relegation spots realistically available and panicking this early in the season isn’t necessary.

Upfront today we finished with two young loan strikers, when as that ever happened at Rovers in the past?

Maybe he hasn't addressed this because he's wanting us to get top players rather than settle, like we did for Payne. Clearly you haven’t attended the last 3 league games if you’re content or willing to give Coughlan more time. He’s had all summer and this is what he’s produced. I’d rather go down having a go and playing open expansive football, as it is we sit back and lump it and still get dicked every game. Time to go. Reactionary nonsense. Attended or not, I've watched every game. Transfer window's not closed, the majority of his signings have performed well. I'm not going to want a manager gone after 3 games, especially when we didn't even lose all 3. Darrell had 1 point from his first 3 in the Conference season. I've always been an advocate of not sacking the manager until at least 10-12 games into the season to allow the side to gel. I'll give him August and September free.

Hang on, if you read most my posts I am not for this board, I hope the takeover rumours are true. However GC has signed a load of non league defenders instead of midfielders.

The only non league defender is Hare, but who was GC going to play today if he haven't had signed Hare, Davies & Leahy?

Well if GC thinks no shots on target is gun-ho then we are in deep, deep trouble.
