We will not win many games playing like that. Still grates that Coventry were there for the taking but we were do narrow, one paced and stood off so much we made them look good.
We have no real pace in the team and dont use the wings at all. Mo one is able to ho past their player and no attempts on goal says it all.
Going Tuesday but really not looking forward to seeing a similar display.

Didn’t attend the game today, anyone confirm it was more pitiful than the Wycombe game? GC post match interview was interesting, gung-ho resulting in Zero shots on target? Oh dear!

Dont think any formation will work, its the personnel that is the problem. Too many players not good enough....again. The players are good enough IMO. We have the personnel to play with width and to be able to adapt as a situation fits. Unfortunately, the manager is one dimensional in his approach. Can you explain how you think these players are good enough to play with width? We have no width in our squad!!!! Bennett is an over paid,over rated journeyman.Rodman,injury prone. Our two main full backs are along with JCH our two best players but will never be fit enough to play for more than a game or two before being on the sick bed again! Again we have no width!! And this is Cogs fault during the summer for not fixing. I agree with our managers mindset tho.This is what will cost him his job if he continutes this way of playing.But we dont have any players good going forward,simple. |

That was Ian Atkins in disguise today although James Hunt was much better than Ogogo and Upson.
Worst tactics I’ve seen from a manager of ours for a long time, no width, no pace, no strength.
I would bring in Holloway, has a lot to prove and he is a winner.

knew I should not have looked in on forum!look we have had two tough away games and come up short but new players still settling in ,JCH not match sharp yet THD out long time again, Little gets injured, plenty of positives Smith, Alfie growing in stature with every game, Tomlinson ready to be unleashed ,yes we do need a couple of players we all know what and so does GC who has the unenviable task of trying to sell the club to prospective signings and that aint easy! seems to me that some on here can't forgive GC for saving us last season and making DC look inferior! I was big fan of DC and did not want him to go but I am over it now and have moved on and so should every one else on here, far from not bothering on Tuesday we should pack the Mem and roar us on to our first 3 points come on you blues ,up the Rovers!

Especially with Bennett. Looked the part when he first joined us, but gradually faded away into an irrelevance. An expensive one at that.

I think so, he currently can’t get a job, some have said he’s past it and he recently commented on this saying he isn’t, that means he wants to personally prove people wrong. |

Yep, that was in his post match interview, just after we'd played a full 90 minutes without forcing the opposition goalie into making one decent save. He sounds like the village idiot in his interviews. Another Holloway then .utg |
