Jaakola. 6. Did pretty well. Not at fault for either goal.
Hare. 5. Exposed by the narrow system.
Davies. 7. Solid. Good game.
Kilgour. 7. A good performance, although I wouldn't have dropped Craig. The shirt is Alfie's now though.
Leahy. 5. Exposed. Possibly at fault for the first goal but also made a superb block to prevent a certain goal ten minutes earlier.
Clarke: 5. One excellent run and one good reverse pass. Aside from that, battled hard.
Ogogo. 5. Good first half. Battled like he always does.
Sercombe. 6. Good second half until he got injured. Signs of the old Liam coming back?
Bennett. 5. Mixed bag. Good tracking back in first half but ineffective going forward. Should play wide or not at all. Lucky not to be sent off.
Smith. 5. Ineffectuve but worked hard.
JCH. 5. Clearly not fit.
Upson. 4. Added nothing.
Nichols. 4. Added nothing.
Adeboyejo. Nole.
GC. 2. Produces a side that works hard but his tactics are stifling.
Ref. 7. Good.
Cov. 7. Good. Passed with pace and width. If they'd had quality up front or our centre halves had been off their gane it could have been 5 or 6.

Jaakola: 6 - can’t blame the bloke for anything, made his presence much clearer from crosses
Hare: 5 - got beaten way too easily didn’t offer much going forward either, but midfield didn’t support him (or Leahy)
Leahy: 5 - will get blamed for the goal, didn’t offer much going forward either, but as mentioned by gas1970 made some important tackles and deserves credit for that
Kilgour 8 - fantastic again, clearly learning quickly, TC deserves credit for that.. Much more composed on the ball and they didn’t have much joy through the middle, largely thanks to him
Davies 7 - best signing of the summer, strong for the most part but missed a decent headed chance and maybe could have marked tighter for the first goal
Ogogo 4 - used to rate him, but I’m fed up of him hoofing the ball pointlessly, not the player you need if you want to play decent football.
Sercombe 7 - tried to make things happen on the ball but had no help from the midfield around him. The game died after he came off.
OC 5 - battled hard but too absent for much of the game, and wasted a great opportunity with smith and JCH square
Bennett 4 - got a stupid yellow card putting him on a tightrope and ultimately failed in his role to procure for the strikers
Smith - 6 ran hard but constantly forced to drop in as him and JCH were feeding off scraps
JCH 6 - feeding off scraps, but a special player who always gives hope that he can do something from nothing.
GC - 2 post match comments absolutely clueless, comments in the week on the rangers player silly and clearly not ready to be a manager at this level. Most important signing was a creative midfielder who we haven’t got.
Crowd - 8 gave their best but the squad are giving us nothing to cheer

So disappointing that we did nothing first half so no surprises at them going 1 up. Finally, some passion and effort 2nd half but coventry the better team - better passing and MOVEMENT.

Quality simply not there.Too much mediocrity.We are looking somewhat lacking both on and off the pitch.Won't be down for the next match.Why should I waste my money?The lack of ambition,money and quality is simply no incentive.No goals ,no stadium improvements,no wins,no communication from the Board.Nichols gets game time .Why? Think I'll take up knitting.

Jaakkola 6 - a couple of dodgy moments but could not be faulted for either goal
Hare 5 - defensively poor but exposed by system. OK corners.
Davies 6.5
Kilgour 6.5
Leahy 5 - same as Hare but also his mistake led to the critical first goal
Ogogo 6 - showed energy
Clarke 4 - very poor
Sercombe 5.5 - was doing better than of late. Shame that he got injured
Bennett 5 - inconsistent. Showed good effort at times. Lucky not to have been sent off.
Smith 4 - looked as lightweight as Nicholls
Clarke-Harris 5 - glimpses of the real JCH but clearly not match fit
Subs: Upson 4 - added nothing. Too slow.
Nichols 3.5 - too lightweight. Had a chance, tried the spectacular and totally missed the ball
Adeboyejo 4- did not get into the game
Crowd 3 - I am hurting as well but the booing at the end will only makes things worse

This was just what I'd feared and said after the Cheltenham game. Trying to play the way we do with the formation and players picked, we're not good enough.
Jaakkola, nothing he could do with either goal. 6
Hare, exposed (not his fault) but struggled.5.5
Davies, stuck to his task as best he could. 6.5
Kilgour, the one chink of light, he's coming along well but playing in this team he'll always be under pressure. 7
Leahy, poor, very poor. Time to bring Kelly back in. 3.5
Now on to our shambles of a narrow midfield.
Ongogo, not started the season very well, hoped he'd have been up for this one. 5
Clarke,Captain calamity, not really leading by example, may be the responsibility is playing on his mind. 4
Sercombe, slightly better than previous games but that doesn't mean a lot. 5
Bennett, our winger who's not a winger, I wish Swindon were still interested in him, 4
Smith, we're asking a lot of a young lad who's not up to giving us a good full 90 mins. It's a learning curve for him. 5
Clarke Harris, looks as though he's carrying a few extra pounds around his arse and in clearly not fit.4
Upson, altered nothing, 5
Nichols, as I say every week, we're looking for goals to change the game and we bring Tommy no goals on! 3
