Much, much better now we have some width.
Upson superb, Hare and Leahy doing a great job at wing back too. 3-5-2 relies on the wing backs and they've both done well. Some cracking crosses from Hare particularly. Also looking more solid defensively with 3 at the back.

Wait hang on a second - didn't everyone want 3-5-2?! Now it seems he's done it and its shocking, negative & defensive? I’ve got no confidence in Cogs or our current squad turning a 3-5-2 in to an attacking wide formation whatsoever. I really hope he does though. One chance and we took it. It is the same as before - one midfielder + defender. But we’re winning. UTG |

Decent first half ....
Upson playing well ...
Hares corners poor ...
Defence looks good...
Ollie C ... Got into the game more as it went on.
JCH and Smith look good up front...
Tranmere an utter disgrace ... will be surprised if they finish with all players on the pitch.

Excellent Banned word man-management by GC. Had a shouty rant at JCH for not tracking back enough and filling in at left-back. JCH was fired up and scored within 5 mins.

We've done ok but not getting carried away. It's hardly scintillating football. I'll be surprised if we see a worse team at the mem than Tranmere this season.

Very good first half hope we can keep this up. The three centre half’s have been very good and gives hare and Leahy the chance to get forward and give us that width we’ve been crying out for. Upson looks like a new man 😂

A great prospect for our club. I honestly believe that he has the potential to play in the Prem one day. At minimum he will be a top championship defender IMO I do think GC is a huge influence on him |

Best game I’ve seen upson play for us. The ref seems on our side and can see a penalty coming our way or sending off.

Far more balls into the box and Smith missed with a free header when he probably should have scored. |

Very good interview by little with 20man, he is currently owed 5 months wages from Bolton! Wow! Also talks about how great GC is so that goes some way to dispelling the rumours the dressing room hates him
