I named my budgie Agogo as a kid, RIP big man, some very fond memories of him in my formative Gas-supporting years!

Is it wrong to mention the time he got sent off? In the grand scheme of things it seems quite humorous and doubtless put a smile on a lot of Rovers fans faces during some typically bleak times. What a character.

What a character. No, it was hilarious but bloody frustrating. Junior had just scored at Lincoln and ran straight towards Ian Atkins giving him the five knuckle shuffle and calling him a w**ker. The referee promptly sent him off. After the game I asked him what the hell he was thinking of and he simply said, "You have always encouraged me to be honest, that was what I was doing."

RIP Junior. Awful news. Condolences to his family and friends. Happy memory. My son was mascot on his 10th birthday and one of his most prized possessions (he's 25 now) is a photo of him and Junior, both beamimg. Junior took time out for my son that day and I won't forget that.

Dreadful. I've always smiled when I hear going to a go-go by Smokey Robinson, could be played in the warm up on Saturday ?
RIP Junior.

Hahaha good answer, if badly timed

My daughter at the time was young had a scrapbook full of pics of the players , Junior came out of the tunnel to warm up my daughter asked for his autograph on one of his pics , Junior stopped thumbed through the book to look for a picture of him to sign , he was so impressed with the amount of work put in by such a young girl,he not only signed the book but stopped players coming out to look and sign the scrapbook , my daughter to this day never forgot that moment,RIP Junior left us far too early

Can only echo what has already been said, what an age too!!!
Remember he could have walked at the end of his contract with us and we would have got nothing, but fair play to him, he signed a contract so we got a fee from Forest!! That alone made him a legend in my eyes.
R.I.P Junior, way to early!!

On a week of comparisons of 2 of our ex centre forwards, junior & Stefan Payne, no comparison really , 1 a credit to the blue and white quarters, the other a complete prat.

Awful news... He always came across as such a genuinely nice, down to earth guy who was always smiling. Good player and some great memories in an otherwise dark era for us. RIP Junior
