Here is a clip of him in the BBC programme Speechless. A very moving piece and there was plenty more in the rest of the programme which I fully recommend if it's ever shown again.
Rest in peace Junior. You were a magical talent that will be missed.

Bristol Rovers Football Club are sad to hear news of the death of former Rovers striker Junior Agogo.
In an effort to pay respects to Agogo, who was a prolific goalscorer in his time as a Gashead, scoring 41 times in 126 games, the club plans to pay tribute to the Ghanian international on Saturday 24th August.
Agogo was best known for inspiring an 'impossible' comeback against Yeovil when his side were 2-0 down with only 9 men on the field. He had many other memorable moments in blue and white quarters, and these will be celebrated via a montage on our big screen in the run-up to kick-off.
Furthermore, the club will also hold a minute's applause before kick-off, when the players are all out on the field. We ask all supporters to observe this minutes applause and take this time to remember their fondest memories of a Rovers legend.
Finally, his death will be acknowledged in our programme for the Brighton Hove & Albion game, whilst a full tribute will be included for the game against Accrington Stanley.

Good to see this statement being made and that plans are in place to honour Junior.
I guess it's that age old argument but is applause the best way to do this? I've always felt that applause is the way to pay respects to someone who lived a longer life, whereas the sombre nature of silence reflects someone taken far too soon, such as Junior. I may be wrong but it seems that silence is used less these days.
The important thing though is that this is being marked by the club on Saturday. Let's hope the Taylor nonsense doesn't diminish this important act of respect.

We've just published this to our website - A Tribute To Junior Agogo
A Tribute to Junior Agogo 1st August 1979 – 22nd August 2019
Everyone associated with the Bristol Rovers Former Players Association was saddened to learn of the death of former Rovers striker Junior Agogo at the age of 40. Manuel Junior Agogo was born in Accra, the capital of Ghana, on 1st August 1979 and was with Chelsea as a schoolboy footballer, although he signed for Sheffield Wednesday in October 1996. There followed loan spells with Oldham Athletic, Chester City, Chesterfield and Lincoln City before a move to America saw him turn out for Chicago Fire, Colorado Rapids and San Jose Earthquakes. On his return to these shores he signed for Queens Park Rangers and, in June 2002 joined Barnet for what became just a solitary season. It was at Underhill though where he became a prolific scorer (19 goals in less than 40 appearances), earning a move to BS7, joining Rovers, initially on trial, in June 2003. The deal became a permanent one after the trial period and, in three years with the Gas he scored 45 goals in 120 starts and 20 sub appearances. Nottingham Forest paid £150,000 to secure his services in June 2006 and he later played for the Egyptian giants Zamalek and Apollon Limassol in Cyprus before appearing briefly for Hibernian in Scotland before retirement. Blessed with blistering pace and a striker’s predatory instinct Junior scored a number of memorable goals for Rovers and after his move to Forest he scored his first league hat trick. Along the way there were also 27 international caps, and 12 goals, for Ghana, including a stunning performance at the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations, the highlight of which was scoring the winner in the quarter final against rivals Nigeria. Ghana came 3rd overall and Junior was the Black Stars’ joint top scorer in the tournament (alongside Sulley Muntari), and the joint 5th highest scorer overall. Junior was hospitalised in January 2015, after an apparent stroke, and in 2017 featured in a BBC TV programme about how strokes affect, amongst other things, speech and language. We had some contact with his rehabilitation team, and progress was being made, so to hear of his passing at such a young age comes as quite a shock and our thoughts go out to his immediate family and friends. by Keith Brookman, with contributions from Martin Bull

Rest in peace Junior. You were a magical talent that will be missed. So sad that Junior had to go through that in his final years of his short life. My thoughts go to his family and friends, and will always remember the good times he brought to our club in what was a mediocre few seasons for us he was undoubtedly one of the shining lights for us back then. Rest In Peace Junior.

I was genuinely upset when I found out about this. So many happy memories of watching Junior Agogo, was absolutely class when he played for us.
40 is no age at all to exit this earth, my sincere condolences go out to his family.

A great footballer who gave me some wonderful memories watching Rovers. Shame we never had a good manager who could take advantage of his skillset.
When he knew it was his last game he clapped his way around the ground and left with his head held high.
So sad he was taken from us so soon.
RIP until you live in peace again Junior.

Can only really echo what has been said, always seemed to have a smile on his face and the acceleration was scary. Sometimes he didn’t look interested then seconds later would do something special. Seem to remember an interview with Jed maybe on park street when he was having a pint and a cigarette which would be unthinkable now, seem to remember it was pretty unthinkable then bless him!
