Good. Would set a dangerous precedent to show leniency on individual cases. Bolton should have been kicked out too - their early season results have distorted the league table and created an un-level playing field. |

They will lose Gigg Lane and end up playing at a local non-league club (ie Radcliffe, Ramsbottom, Prestwich Heys). Probably be North -west counties league level.

It’s very sad, a cautionary tale for others, but I hope they get their club back and start to climb back up the leagues. Is that Level 9? Same as Western and Wessex Leagues down here, their premier leagues. Long way back, lower than Taunton Town equivalent. UTG! |

Their local MP is trying to get them into the National league(conference) or National League North. I do not think they have a chance with the 1st one. |

I would have thought they’d have little chance of doing anything with their current owner. And esp now the latest takeover has collapsed. With Dale still in charge they will find it hard to star5 again. Their best chance may be an AFC Bury although the ground may be a problem.
