Chin up lads. Not the best of halves but we're still level. Let's hope our match winner (JCH) can nick us a 1-0 win. Bump! Give me a BOOOOOMMMM!!!

Much better 2nd half. Sercs and ogogo very good. Rotherham were very ordinary and for all their set pieces never really troubled us.

Well done all, hard fought win can only do wonders for confidence beating a good side and keeping clean sheet, getting plenty of points now as insurance for when tough spell comes ,which it will do, gate creeping back up now as fans realise we are doing the best we can with the hard working squad we have, great credit to GC for instilling the right values and work ethic into squad, up the Rovers!!

Sercombe's best game for a long, long time. O Clarke shouldn't get back in the team. Upson, Ogogo and Sercombe has a good balance to it.

So pleased to see Abs Ogogo doing so well.. have been a big fan of his since he signed and it’s great to see others starting to appreciate his effort now.
No slippers on Sercs today... thought he did well !
Sorry for a negative but I think we are a way better side without Ollie Clarke and much prefer Tony Craig as our skipper.
Great Win today Lads... We go again !!

Serious question, could Ollie play off JCH as a 10 or some sort of rotation with Sercs ?

We go again !! I don't think that is a negative. Many of us have said that OC shouldn't be match day captain, and that he isn't as consistent as he could be when he plays. It will be an interesting decision for Cogs when Ollie is fit again. I'm sure he is strong enough to make the correct one - which for me is Ollie on the bench and has to earn his place back. We have a two week break now until the next league game - a chance for those with knocks to get fit I just hope it doesn't upset the momentum that the team has created.

In the past teams like Rotherham would batter and bully you to victory . But that is the past. Show that we can stand up now to these kind of opposition. Rotherham will be up there near the end of the season, so it’s great to gray to get 3 points off them today. Liam Sercombe back to his first season. More the same please Liam. Up to 7th you really can’t moan at that.so well done lads UTG

Great result. Keep up with the teams above us now and it could make for a very interesting season at the business end. Keeping JCH is an absolute must. He really is the difference and probably our most influential player since Lambert.

A gutsy hard fought fully deserved victory. Have to say GC is getting the very maximum out of this group of players. They might not be the most gifted squad we've ever had but they don't half put a shift in. Ogogo & Sercombe both excellent & back 3 solid again, onwards & upwards UTG

O Clarke shouldn't get back in the team IMO. Be a brave manager to change a winning team, and who do you leave out based on today's performance ? Agreed. But even ignoring today. Upson and Ogogo have to be first names on the team sheet in midfield based on the consistency of their performances. O Clarke is so inconsistent. A jack of all trades, master of none. I wish Sercombe could be more consistent with performances like today as that midfield 3 has a great balance to it.

First league game of the season for me. What an improvement in the squad - GC has added a bit of quality. Blokes like Sinclair, Partington and James Clarke weren't good enough to take us forward - they did a great job in L2.
We have some quality in the back three; Upson, Ogogo & Sercombe had good games in the midfield and JCH is a beast! Keeper made a great save with 10-15 minutes left.
If you didn't enjoy that today, you shouldn't be watching football.
Onwards and upwards.

Sercombe played in his favourite position today so of course he did well. I love the energy this team has, especially Agogo. He's a powerhouse in midfield. JCH, what can you say? The bloke's style when given a sniff of goal reminds me a bit of the Brazilian Ronaldo. Hardly fails when put through and dispatches it like the goalie ain't there. What a bargain buy he was. Smith has more pace and a better turn of speed in the box than Nichols and should rightly start up front. We wore Rotherham down with our persistent pegging away and fully deserved the win.

Great second half display which quite clearly roused the crowd. Best atmosphere this season and rightly deserved. Great performances from Jaakkola,Sercombe and Ogogo.JCH once again showed his quality in turning a half chance into an absolutely stunning run and finish. Nobody had a bad game and yet again our three centre backs were superb. They clearly know, if you can't play it, kick it!
