Fair play to him, the most honest assessment by an opposition manager all season.

much prefer Tony Craig as our skipper. It makes literally no difference who has the armband on.

Yep ,thought his reading of game was spot on , makes a refreshing change from usual losing manager nonsense!, reading there forums they are almost a mirror image of this site a few weeks ago, crap uncreative midfield, striker who can't score, crap signings , clueless manager and so on, funny old game is this football aint it!

Sercombe's best game for a long, long time. O Clarke shouldn't get back in the team. Upson, Ogogo and Sercombe has a good balance to it. It could be we have , by necessity, found the answer to our midfield problems, IE trying to fit square pegs in to round holes!, It would be very sad if that means sacrificing Ollie so that the rest can play as a creative productive unit but that may well be the only way. Reminds me of the England situation a few tears ago with Gerard , Lampard and co and the managers attempts to fit them all in, it never worked and the afore mentioned never set the world alight playing for England but managers never had the balls to leave any one out. IMHP, you pick the best man for each position, not pick 10 players and try fit them in somewhere., I mean you had it with the England g/k s at one time with Clemence and co ,but you didn't pick all of them and ask them to play centre half! if I remember rightly Tom Finney and Stanley Mathews both vied for the right wing shirt for England but I doubt if both played , so one truly great had to miss out,( no doubt some stats man will come back and prove me wrong) so may be time to ,relegate Ollie to squad man and not automatic selection, sorry but there you go !

Oh it was good to be back!
First half I thought Rotherham were better than us and we were fortunate to go in at HT drawing. There were quite a few dangerous chances but no one really good on the end of them.
2nd half we were very good and should have really won 2-0. Fair play to GC, his game management was excellent. He may have set us up slightly wrong, but the way he and the team adapted and came out for the 2nd half was excellent.
And on the run goes, that a shame we now have a week without a game to keep the form going. Although, maybe the break is needed as JCH went off with a slight injury.
It will be interesting to see what GC can do ini January, especially if we had some new owners and a hopefully increased budget. Considering he's had the budget slashed the squad is very good & giving 100% for their manager.
Now it's time for the fans to come back and give 100% too

much prefer Tony Craig as our skipper. It makes literally no difference who has the armband on. I agree in respect of what difference it makes during a match, natural leaders will always be vocal regardless of who has a bit of extra fabric on their arm. However, giving the captaincy to someone many feel shouldn’t be a nailed on starter is going to make life awkward for GC, will he feel obliged to bring his skipper straight back into the side when the current three are doing really well?
