Looks like the usual please all claims that political parties put out. Paid for by the bottomless pot of gold. If ever there was a magic money tree then I would wager my last quid that it would be at the bottom of the premier league garden. This is the entity, don’t forget, that organised a 5 million pound whip round for it’s out going chief exec. The premier league could probably do a good job of solving world hunger if it put it’s mind to it. If Labour want to take 5% off them, of all people, then good on them is what I say. Far better that money goes to grass roots or balancing the inequality in the football pyramid rather than in an agent’s back pocket where it would have ended up.

Corbyn couldn't run a beer up in a brewery let alone the country. If he had any confidence in his ability to win votes and be a half decent pm he would take up the challenge of a general election. He is a complete surrender monkey who is too scared to actually stand up and be counted. He can’t even decide what side of the brexit fence to sit on whilst his own front bench mp’s are backing remain. Zero leadership, zero clue and zero Hope should he ever get near number 10. So he can leave the football alone as well. Can any opinionated tosser be a moderator? He's right though, isn't he?

Let's stick to the football, please, or I'll move the thread to GC. Thanks. All well and good, but that's a bit like ignoring the elephant in the room, isn't it. Corbyn has set his squinty sights on Premier League football because it's rich and successful. Wankers like Corbyn, O'Donnell, Watson (who was stupid enough to believe that dirty Paedophile 'Nick') can't stand anything rich and successful and have an overwhelming desire to interfere in things they know nothing about, at the risk of totally f@cking up the previously rich and successful business. Football needs political interference like a porn star needs a dose of the clap.

So he can leave the football alone as well. What so the 'nasty party' who lowered tax for the top 5% chooses when to have a General election because it suits the Cambridge and Oxford boys . We had a general election in 2015 and another in 2017. The maths tells us the 'toffs' lost 42 mp's still counting. And who can trust the 'liar ' who even kenneth clark described as ' The only man who can lie and keep a straight face' . The Tories backed by the top 5% have caused more divisions in this country than anybody but at the same time increased their own wealth. Coming from the inner city I can recall the poll tax and depression of the 1980's. Shocking party ... and yet labour still couldn't get in

It is weird that any fan could disagree with Labour's plans:
- Supporters’ trusts given the right to appoint at least two members to a club’s board of directors.
- Give supporters’ trusts the right to purchase shares in a club when it changes hands.
- Premier League to invest 5% of its income from TV rights in the grassroots game.
- Enforce legislation designed to stop ticket-tout websites selling tickets at inflated prices.
