van Stappershoef 7 - not much to do but looked assured and very much in control
Davies 9 - great in defence, a good goal and foiled for another by a great save Craig 8.5 - big mistake by GC not to give him the arm band at the start of the season Kilgour 8.0 - a few mistakes but generally solid and a great prospect
Rodman 7 - did an adequate job. Great thing is that he has proven ability to be better still Ogogo 8 - great energy. Missed one good chance but his ball winning ability is one of the best in this league Upson 8- very assured performance Sercombe 7.5 - adds something when played in this role that we lack with OC Leahy 7 - looked solid and crossing good
Nichols 6 - tried hard and had some impact. However knocked off the ball very easily on numerous occasions and we could have paid for his misses. Smith 6.5 - great pace and skill. Was a bit lightweight and tired in the second half
Subs: Bennett 6.5 - was ok but has the ability to play a lot better Hargreaves 6 - one great driving run but looked a bit lost at times. Will get better with more game time Adeboyejo 6.5 - did ok but nothing spectacular
Crowd 7 - good atmosphere but still need to be at least 8,000 to give support needed Ref 7 - whistled very late a number of times which was confusing but overall did well MK 5 - never looked like scoring despite some good possession and passing. Will struggle until they get a goal scorer.

van Stappershoef 8 Had little to do
Davies 8.5 MOTM Craig 8 Solid Kilgour 8 Solid
Rodman 7.5 Ogogo 8 Pick of the midfield Upson 7.5 Sercombe 7.5 Leahy 7.5
Nichols 3 Imagine if we had a striker who could actually score? 2 gilt edged chances wasted. He has no confidence. Pretty sure when players were going to the touchline for drinks, Tom was just putting on hair gel. Surprised he lasted as long as he did. He had a pedicure booked for 4:45pm and nearly missed it. Smith 6.5
Subs: Bennett 6 Hargreaves 7 Adeboyejo 6.5
Crowd 6 Ref 7 MK 5

Points are what it's about and that's another 3 to move us up to fourth but it's obvious I'm in the minority in that I didn't think we played well against poor opponents. We are slow going forward and keep launching it up the park. It says it all when our 2 best players play in the back 3!
Van 6, didn't have a lot to do but did it ok.
Davies, 7.5 mom took his goal well and was solid at the back Craig, 7 usual level of performance. Kilgore 7 another good performance from the young defender, maturing well.
Rodman 6, no as good going forward as needed. Ogogo, 6.5 battled away well in the middle Upson, 6 not up to his standards of late. Sercombe, 6 we need him to give us creativity and he didn't deliver on Saturday. Leahy, 5.5 can't wait for THD to get back to full match fitness.
Smith, 5.5 looked busy but didn't actually work their keeper. Nichols, 3.5, time for him to put us and himself out of our misery by going. Couldn't even hit the target from 10 yards and had a couple of good hearing chances.
Subs,
Bennett, 6 did ok we introduced. Hargreaves, 6 nice to see the youngster introduced, had a great run before being hauled down. Alex, 6 as Bennett.
Crowd, 6 you could feel the mood and atmosphere changing as halftime approached and it was still level. Ref, 7 MK, 4 poor and only came to life in the final 15 mins

This is L1 not watching Man C /Liverpool my fellow Gashead

Results in and Tom Davies is Man of the Match with a score of 8.48
This was Davies' 4th MotM of the season and the 8.48 was the highest rating in a league game this season. Only Davies' own 8.57 against Brighton was higher.
Davies, Craig and Kilgour all raised their season average to above 7 with this game. With Ed Upson also above 7, this is the first time there have been four players all averaging above that mark at any point in any season.
The starting XI average was 7.26.
van Stappershoef 7.3
Davies 8.5 Craig 8.0 Kilgour 8.0
Rodman 6.6 Ogogo 7.6 Upson 7.4 Sercombe 6.9 Leahy 6.9
Nichols 5.7 Smith 7.0
Subs: Bennett 6.1 Hargreaves 6.6 Adeboyejo 6.4
Crowd 6.4 Ref 6.8 MK 4.7
