The Yeovil poster also referred to the verbal and physical abuse aimed at the players and referee, saying how it disgusted him and should be stamped out. This is also true of the Gaschat forum abuse of Tom Nichols by some posters who should be ashamed of their behaviour. There is a difference, as the players that got abused were black and they got racially abused which is unacceptable in every area of life. Nicholls gets abuse because he is on a long lucrative contract and he is crap Yet puts in the work every time he puts on the blue and white quarters. The abuse he receives is nothing short of disgraceful. The events at the Bolton match were a moment of shame for the club (not just the football)

This has a 1-0 Bromley written all over it.
Can’t wait.

I think it will be a hard match but GCs record in cup matches isn’t bad and I think we’ll approach it with a different attitude. Lots of different players so I hope it will mean a win. Fingers crossed. UTG!

GC wants to win every game, and the result at Rochdale must give them a boost. Suspect the same team to go out there

I see Bromley’s chairman is offering free coach travel for the match Sunday & they have sold around 500 tickets so far. With Rovers announcing its quid a kid Sunday it should make a decent turnout & atmosphere for a first round tie.

In recent seasons we have got promotion after being knocked out by lower ranked sides in the cups.. Bath City in the FA vase/whatever its called now, and the club that Barry Hayes played for when they knocked us out of the FA cup. Not wanting an upset of us of course, but the same happy ending come May would be very welcome if it did.😊 You mean Chesham United. Southern league Premier South. Don't forget Barrow; Barnet; Notts County; Tranmere (non league): a draw at home with York, winning away and then a draw with Crawley at home with a win away. Abysmal You so subtly sidestep the crux of icegas's post so you can wade in with the negatives. As a slight aside, do you think that losing at Tranmere Rovers when they were a division above us, fits into the meaning of the word 'abysmal'?

Bromley lost away to Wrexham today and their away form is not too good, also picking up a loss 2-1 against Solihull Moors recently. By the looks of things they're a lot less optimistic about getting anything from us than we are. Am I allowed to mention their plastic pitch? Might have a bearing on home & away form?

We're obviously going to lose, and cause much hilarity on OTIB, and then get promoted, and then be four places behind them in the Championship, which will cause much hilarity on OTIB.

End of the day we are 2 divisions higher than them. I see a straightforward 2-0 win.

But this team we have now is the best we have had in ages. Will not lose at home to a non-league team. I am sure of it.

Anyone else go to Hitchin? I don't think they had won a home game all season until the mighty Bristol Rovers turned up.
