Bromley have Mark Cousins in goal. The bloke who single handedly almost stopped us getting promoted when playing a blinder for Dag & Red.

'66 was also before Frankie's time. The Arsenal match was played in early 1967 but I'm still pretty sure that was pre-Frankie. It was. Pretty sure I wasn't there, at least if I was I cant remember. But I do remember seeing Alfie Biggs scoring a hat trick?

Potential banana-skin but I would still expect to beat them fairly comfortably aslong as we don't underestimate them and become complacent, 2 - 0 I reckon.

I queued for about 3 hours in the pouring rain on a cold tuesday night to get my ticket.
Was very poorly on the Saturday after eating some dodgy faggots the previous evening and missed the game. Amazingly managed to avoid the result until Sunday and effectively watched the highlights 'live' on TV on Sunday afternoon with scarf, bobble-hat (not cool), rattle and rosette. Made plenty of noise but to no avail.
Especially upsetting as I'd gone to Oxford City (my first away game, aged 12) and Luton at home.
Still waiting for us to make amends and knock Arsenal out the cup...........

I will have words about it on Saturday.

Was on the Tote end for that game it was unbelievably crammed, it was 37000 not sure what the official capacity was. I was in the Tote End. I thought there were 37,000 tickets, but 34,000 sold. Or, I have late onset...something or other 😝😂 Oh how sweet we could have been a leaver and Remainer next to each other😊 Laurie Taylor was in goal is have a vivid him in mid air full length right in front of the Tote.

Regards Frankie Prince, he signed his first pro contract with us in December 67.

I recon around 35000+ The 2nd round v Luton was a great game. 0-2 down & we fought back to win 3-2. Luton were old 4th Div then & going well, I think a young Malcolm McDonald played for them that day.

I wouldn’t have fancied us to get through to the second round even if we had got the bye.

So both Chichester *and* Bromley got a bye to the next round. Fair play!

You are right Wareham, they were 4th bottom. Sadly 50% of the teams in that division that season, are currently not in the football league. 😩

I always thought it was slightly less and after a little search it comes up at 38,472 although there was one reference to your figure.
