Like the Labour MP’s berating private education......but sending their own kids to the most expensive schools they can find. Very classic labour “do as I say not as I do”. Oh they can all be as bad as each other
rather amazing (well not) that all we heard is "Will of the people" "Honouring democratic votes" etc in the past view years and during the election, that a democratic vote unelected Zac Goldsmith, but he gets a life peerage to serve in the cabinet
How very democratic
Haha, brilliant! Boris says and does what he wants. Hopefully the public will have woken up to this in 5 years time.

Yeah I saw that, hilarious. Imagine the state of the country five years after her involvement. What would the Boris haters say then? They really would have summat to whinge about.

Just remember the alternative Corbyn and Abbott. Yes, but we don’t have the alternative- that’s been taken off the table now. However I’m sure if things go bad given how the Tories have continuously blamed the Labour government of 10 years ago they won’t hesitate to pin the blame on Labour politicians who haven’t even been in office! The election is done and the time for whataboutery is over- no one to blame any more if Boris turns out to be the bluffer that some of us suspect he is.

As you agree there's no alternative so why not be positive about this one, it's the only one we have, it's your government too, of your country.

I’d like to- as I said above I don’t dislike the Tory party just because. Over time they have a habit of proving the cynic in me right. Trust is not something they take seriously or care about. I’m hoping to see some positive signs of moderation: a moderate cabinet (not so far), some moderate politics (not so far) so for me I’m still hugely terrified and not at all convinced that all the people who are optimistically predicting a nice and cuddly Tory party due to the majority are correct. Of course it’s been what, a couple of days but we have already seen unelected citizens fineigled into the cabinet and a hard deadline for the Brexit proceedings (which has to be looked at with some trepidation). As starts go, it could have been better...

As starts go, it could have been better... I really don't understand why all you lefties are bleating about anything and everything. Boris hasn't yet done anything that compares to the anti democratic shenanigans from the left. I said in my post a couple of days ago that you only have yourselves to blame for anything that happens in the next 5 years. It was your antics that gave him the election victory. It was your continued cancel-Brexit stance that gave him such a huge majority. If he f**ks up Brexit and the Country then you need to have a good hard look in the mirror cos it was the loony left that put him in power in such numbers that he was able to have a free hand. As for making it law not to be able to extend past the end of 2020 what does this actually mean? It gives the EU something to focus their minds on so they don't drag negotiations out for the next 3 years. They are terrified of no deal so they have an incentive now to agree one. In fact, what Boris has done is put all options back on the table whereas the shameful left took no deal off the table. In my wildest dreams I would hope that Boris can put things in place over the next 5 years that will wipe out any chance of the left getting into power for the next 100 years but while I wait for that I'm just going to enjoy reading and listening to all the constant whining from the LOSERS.

Isn't that what losers do, while winners get on with it? For me it was the anti democratic stance that killed the left. These people are dictators, they would have done better if they listened to the people. It was the kiss of death when they didn't do that. It really doesn't take much intelligence to realise that. So we didn't have to worry that they were not intelligent enough to run the country. They weren't even intelligent enough to get anywhere near power. So what is the point of knocking everything the Tories do when your own party is completely useless.
