This. I however have no sympathy for Corbyn. He set himself up as leader and did not lead. He allowed the right wing press to play him by A) Not publicly putting down Anti Semitism in his party immediately B) Not disassociating himself from remarks about Hamas, by clarification as a minimum C) Not taking a position on Brexit, either way. The bottom line is he is not a leader and he surrounded himself with middle class school boys who formulated policy and tactics. This does not make Johnson right, far from it. He has surrounded himself with populist alt right neo cons like Cummings. Yes, there are some fair points there that weren’t addressed. I still don’t think he deserved the level that he got though and I would say that about anyone. For me, an election should be a gentlemanly business where the policies speak for themselves and leaders challenge each other in intellectual debate but with the advent of social media and advertising on steroids it’s being brought down to the level of an egg and spoon race where it’s win at all costs and tripping your opponent or barging into them is considered fair game. Well, there is no way that Corbyn would ever feature in an 'intellectual debate' is there As for 'policies speaking for themselves' I think the British electorate fully understood Labour's policies, and soundly rejected them !

Sadly grabs for power these days are ugly. As Kier Starmer said this morning it's not the first time that anybody who opposes the Tories gets mud thrown at them. Just look who owns the Newspapers. Of course if the BBC and C4 dont play ball they get threatened with regulatory changes. It's always the Tories that do this.

Next up, Sir Kier Starmer, another multi-millionaire North London MP will throw his hat in the ring! They'll keep the Red Flag flying high !

Exactly, which is what makes the bot networks, disinformation and posters inferring paedophilia so ugly- it was all so unnecessary.

Emily Thornberry official declares Needs to be a woman so she ticks that one, but should be from outside of London in order to reconnect. Missed PMQs but just caught Richard Bergan was on Politics Live making himself look even more of a prat. Considering the Deputy role and backs RLB.

He definitely voted against equal rights for gay marriage. So there's that... Besides being thick, socially inept, completely devoid of empathy and has contributed nothing to society ....he is also anti gay.

Are you referring to the right honourable member for the 18th century? Is it that obvious? I will, personally, give Johnson 1/4 of 1% credit if he dumps him as leader of the house.

I like JRM, him and Borris make a brilliant team. They'd take the World by storm given half a chance.

It will be the smallest olive branch in the history of humanity but it would be a start and potential intent to soften up the front bench. Despite his Grenfell comments and subsequent election lock down I expect he is still a big part of Boris’s inner circle going forward:
