Its £400 if it goes straight to £12,500. At £9,500, it's all of £100 a year. £2 a week. Personally I would like to see it invested. It apparently costs £11billion at full value. Let's put that £11 billion into social services, please? After 25 rip roaring years in the City I expect 500 quid is not much for you. Probably doesn't even cover a decent lunch. However, for many lower paid workers it is more than welcome. Surely anything that puts more money into the pockets of lower paid workers should be encouraged and applauded. Funnily enough, just booked the Boot & Flogger for lunch with my son who is over on business from the States. 🤣🤣🤣 But back to topic, it's pointless reducing your insurance premium (which NI is , or supposed to be) only to leave you with costs which are totally unaffordable. Like care for later in life.

new headline Tory policy to be announced at the manifesto launch I've watched this about four times, and just where is there a racist comment? Maybe I missed it? It was his last comment. "Let's get Brexit done. Get 'em out!" I don't think he was referring to dog owners.

I don't think he was referring to dog owners. To be honest that is stretching things a bit far to describe that as a 'racist' comment. They do tend to speak differently up North.

Hi all I run the Recovery Through Sport mental health football project which is supported by the community trust. We all deliver mental health education to the youth teams, development and 1st team at rovers. Stuart Sinclair has very kindly donated match worn from the EFL semi final match last season and agreed to hand the winning bidder his match worn shirt in person at a chosen location in Bristol. Stuart is an ambassador to the Recovery Through Sport Project which helps improve people’s physical and mental wellbeing through sport. To bid follow: rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F163952953892We would like to thank all bidders for donating to the project. The Recovery is a project funded under the Headlight charity Registered Charity No. 1056576

They do tend to speak differently up North. I agree it's a bit much to describe him as a 'mindless racist', but that was the comment that prompted it. The rest of the clip was about dog poo....

From Labour Party Manifesto
"£75bn for the largest council house building programme in three generations."
This, unsurprisingly, I support. For all the reasons argued previously on this thread.

Just how much money do they think they will steal from the top 5%?

Come on then. Let's see if you know who you are voting for. I got an appalling 9/16. My only excuse is that politicians are not household names like they used to be. Name these UK politicians

Only having 5 tv’s, only being able to go the pub 6 times per week, being limited to just 20 fags per day, only being able to afford to get the kids a takeaway 5 nights per week, the kids not having the latest Xbox on the first day of its release, only having one car in the household, only having one foreign holiday each year.... Overseas probably more defined as a makeshift home, barely any income, no education system, no access to healthcare.....

I see the very pleasant, likeable Mr Salmond is in court today facing 10 sexual assault cases.
