Don't hold youd breath waiting for an answer. They literally won’t be able to give me an answer. Very, very desperate times for the anti-tories...coming out with all sorts of nonsense....they really need to stop being so hate filled. They’ve lost their heads, god knows what they’ll be like when the 12th is done and dusted.

what's the difference between antisemitism and antizionism? I'll wait for you to google it... To quote Nobby, "dont hold your breath" 🤣😱 About 2 weeks ago, you may remember, I was undecided on Corbyn and I was wondering about this antisemitism and whether it was real or not. That's when I went off to find out what the actual facts were and lo and behold. I think it's very easy, very popular, for people to say Corbyn is antisemitic. Particularly confirmed Tory supporters of course. Theres no doubt that line has come from and been pushed hard by the media. The BBC have had to apologise for spin already this election and the fact that the government appoints the highest roles in the BBC suggests it's not much of a stretch to realise its bias towards Conservatives. Reading Laura K with any critical faculty will only result in one conclusion. The Union of European Jews support him and dismissed this Rabbis opinion - do we hear about that? Did any of these guys on here know that? Doubt it. Why not? Because they havent actually looked in to it and are just pumping out what they hear with zero critical faculty applied. That, or they dont actually believe what they say. Have labour got a problem with antisemitism? Probably yes but no more than the Tories do with Islamophobia. Is Corbyn antisemitic? Not a chance. Criticising Israeli policy? Yes. Anti Zionist? Yes. Plenty of Jews are anti Zionist too. The Irish thing I've started to look at at so far there seems to be a load of disinformation attached to that too. Photos that are quoted as evidence show a different person, voting records quoted which are not actually true and comments made taken out of context (apparently not a worthy excuse unless you're Boris of course as nobby has previously defended). So I'm still undecided on the Irish issue but so far, it looks like it's going to turn out to be as big a load of bollocks as the first one. It's very easy to dismiss and attempt to take the water when you have run out of points to make. So I welcome their jibes, it shows me I was correct and that their assertions are actually not well founded and developed viewpoints but instead are simply one of a thousand Murdoch headlines. They'll win the election of course but if we are lucky and enough good people vote, we will get a hung parliament. If not, the manipulation will have worked. C'est la vie

The Irish question is an interesting one as it brings into play the role of historical "imperialism" as a root cause of an awful lot of friction today. The right of the Irish people to choose their own destiny wouldn't be disputed today, but it was in 1900. I agree with Corbyn on issues such as this, which includes the same for the Palestinians.

Altbough I found his history here unpalatable, things moved on with even Martin Macguinnes and Ian Paisley calling themselves friends. My biggest concern was over his reaction to the Salisbury incident but that wasn't a view only he held.

Interesting juxtaposition with Boris' speech at the NATO conference today talking about being better together. In defence issues yes. NATO has a proven track record. Look at the mess the EU made in the Balkans, and it needed NATO to step in and stop it. It could be argued that it was the actions of the EU that led to Russia taking over the Crimea plus the troubles in the Ukraine, and it is now NATO that has had to step up and deploy troops.

So Oldie, you also believe there is no proof of Corbyn's links to PIRA and that it is all a right-wing media led smear campaign? Just to pick you up on your assertion that I actually said that, which I didnt. Interestingly they are your words and not mine. Appreciate it helps you with your narrative though so get why you would try and sell that off as confirmed. If you read my post again it might become a little clearer to you as you seem to have had difficulty the first time around.
