Interesting juxtaposition with Boris' speech at the NATO conference today talking about being better together.
In defence issues yes. NATO has a proven track record. Look at the mess the EU made in the Balkans, and it needed NATO to step in and stop it. It could be argued that it was the actions of the EU that led to Russia taking over the Crimea plus the troubles in the Ukraine, and it is now NATO that has had to step up and deploy troops.
Nope, the movement of NATO eastwards predated that by some way and got people like Putin very twitchy.

Opinions Stuart, but it took NATO to sort things out, especially in places like Kosovo.

Two different issues, on the Balkans I agree, although that is as much command and control with political oversight.
On the point of Ukraine, Putin didn't like the former USSR states looking West and NATO moving east. The EU issues came later although it had some influence it was less of a factor.

They literally won’t be able to give me an answer.
Very, very desperate times for the anti-tories...coming out with all sorts of nonsense....they really need to stop being so hate filled. They’ve lost their heads, god knows what they’ll be like when the 12th is done and dusted.
what's the difference between antisemitism and antizionism? I'll wait for you to google it...
More cattiness. You guys need to relax.
How about you and oldie back up your point and show me which of my posts show I don’t know the difference. Thanks.
Corbyn questions the right of Israel to exist....One of his many interviews on Iranian tv....
Didn't happen. You've been brainwashed.
This one. Your response suggests you took it as proof of antisemitism (and oh how foolish are we for not believing it). This shows me you dont know the difference.

...and manipulated by the right wing medier because we don’t have eyes or minds of our own. We should listen to the lefties more - they are far more intelligent and superior in every way.

You boys are really precious about intelligence arent you. You seem to mention it more than anyone else!
"“Another witness is understood to be Chris Steele, the former MI6 officer behind the famous dossier on US President Donald Trump." - Which was proven to be just a bunch of lies. Steele was totally discredited after that. You are aware that the two year Democratic led investigation of collusion between Trump and 'the Russians' actually found nothing!
I think you'll find more Russian money flows through Malta than London. It was also a German Bank, Deutsche Bank, which was caught laundering Russian money. Some of their employees went to prison, many more were sacked, and Deutsche Bank had to pay a huge fine !
and you've got the nerve to accuse us of being influenced by the media
I'm not sure about that, I needed convincing myself of Trump's guilt and while I was on holiday out of boredom I gave that 'The Asset' podcast a go. Now, fair enough, the host does admit that he works for some non-profit that has funding links with the democratic party so you think "yeah yeah he's just a schill for Clinton" but it's absolutely dizzying how there are over 8 hours of this podcast hammering you with links between Trump and Putin. It is very, very hard to come away from all that and simply conclude it's all just total coincidence and there is nothing to see. There might be nothing conclusive there but then if you look at the ground beneath your feet you could easily conclude the earth is flat etc.
Well, Cyprus (and Nauru) mainly from what I understand but the Russians seem to have long held a love affair with the tax haven nature of the UK since before the fall of communism. Wasn't it mainly the Russian need for dollars but held in a country that wouldn't be likely to confiscate them and was politically stable that proved the inspiration for the Eurodollar market, kicking off the whole off-shore paradigm in the 50's? Ironically this whole line of conversation has got me down a rabbit hole of research and it was somewhat humorous seeing how, post 1990 donating to the Tory party seems to be the Russian oligarch's method of choice of laundering their reputation (along with starting their own foundation etc). It makes me wonder why the billionaire Russian thinks their interests are best served by bank rolling the Conservative party? I doubt it's a reason that has the well-being of the citizens of this country at heart.
Regarding the Russia report, maybe it's nothing - but what I can't make a case for is why, if there is literally nothing to see, Boris didn't release the report before the election. If it's all above board then why deliberately hand your opponents a political football to kick at you from point blank range? It makes literally no sense. The only logical conclusion one can draw is that, for the same reason he is ducking Andrew Neil, he thinks not releasing it will do less damage than actually releasing it. We can only guess why that might be (and I 'm not being rhetorical).
I'm no fan of Corbyn, but f**king hell this pretty low grade questioning trying to make him look unpatriotic or something
No, you have it wrong. The interview was meant to be a light hearted look at his life. It was an attempt to make him appear more human, only for the old duffer to start telling lies about watching the Queen's Speech! Why didn't he just say he never watches it. I am a Monarchist and I never watch it ! FFS, all he had to do was be honest !
