But that’s not really the point though is it - everyone already knows Corbyn has said and done some stupid stuff over the years. It’s the brainwashed reactions of these Corbyn disciples that is most interesting. The blinkered loyalty and unwillingness to accept their leaders flaws reminds me of those girls that sang their support for Charles Manson at his trial. In the meantime Johnson refuses to face any form of informed and detailed questions. General election: Boris Johnson snubs second TV interview after avoiding Andrew Neil flip.it/QkU4j1Which is why, I guess, those who hold ill informed opinions vote for him. Or is it something worse? Nope. When you are leading 2-0 you don't throw four up front do you!

From what I saw that’s just Corbyn voicing approval of people who have said some mildly controversial stuff. I’m sure there is plenty out there to throw at Corbyn (and justifiably so) but that isn’t it imo. He’s trying too hard to reach the conclusion that he started out with. Which one is you on that video ? I’m definitely the blonde one on a Saturday night- didn’t even know what day of the week it was, bless her. The shrooms are strong these days

Hahaha I hope she’s not representative of the wider electorate because if she is we’re all in serious trouble! The movement party will get one vote though so, y’know, look at the positives...

Here's a good example of how the media ignores news when it doesn't suit their narrative: the right wing media love to portray Jeremy Corbyn as anti-semitic. No one on this thread has yet produced any evidence that he is. This, not from the right wing media, but the Guardian. "It isn’t a peaceful negotiated solution that Hamas wants; it’s the destruction of the Jews." That`s from the organization that Corbyn called his friends. www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/aug/13/jeremy-corbyn-labour-leadership-foreign-policy-antisemitismIf a politician ( or anybody ) described the KKK as his friends, would you say that there was no evidence to prove that he was racist? The author of the article you quote states: '...I genuinely believe that Corbyn does not have an antisemitic bone in his body...'

Why is Johnson hiding from the media? Can't handle public scrutiny? Not fit to be Prime Minister.

Why is Johnson hiding from the media? Can't handle public scrutiny? Not fit to be Prime Minister. He ran away from those people shouting at him outside the palace in Luxembourg don’t forget so he has form for being lily livered. The interesting thing is the way the public convince themselves of characteristics that their favourite politician doesn’t have (and that goes for all of us). Ie, the people in that focus group that PP linked to in the tweet were talking about Boris coming across as a strong leader. Avoiding the media and running away in Luxembourg are not the actions of a strong leader. A tactical one yes, but not strong. They also, rather daftly, spoke about how they couldn’t trust him then shortly afterwards were talking about how straight talking he was! Just goes to show how people don’t even know what goes on in their own heads half the time.

None of the names quoted above are on the same level as Andrew Neil. In fact I’d go so far as to say the line of questioning in that 3 minute segment alone was tougher than I’ve seen Johnson have to deal with in his fluff piece with this morning or from Marr or the dismal live debates etc. An Andrew Neil interview is not going to win him the election, it’s not going to lose him it so it makes sense for him not to do it. But it does nothing for his reputation as a statesman because it’s quite patently obvious that he is avoiding it. A prime minister who can’t face the toughest interviewer in the land- Corbyn and Farage would get slaughtered for that, Johnson gets a hall pass and high fives.

He has refused to be interviewed by anyone who might be well-informed and a good interviewer Its a bit like saying we'll agree to play Watford and Norwich in the Premier League, but we wont play Liverpool or Man City as we will lose. Some may say it clever to avoid scrutiny - but in an election I would argue its an essential part of democracy and an insult to the electorate to refuse to be put to the test. Its blatantly obvious each time he is interviewed by anyone that he is pretty clueless, with little knowledge of detail. Trying to be funny /play the buffoon may work with certain sections of the great British public, but its hardly a way to address the very serious issues this country is facing. As I said, totally unfit to be Prime Minister - he has been, is, and will be, a complete embarrassment to this country.

Which Tory Party policies are you positively voting for?

Johnson and his Tory cronies will always have the better chance with the media supporting them but Corbyn and Labour are concerned for the whole country, not just the the better off like the self-serving Johnson and his rich banker and media friends. Interesting that the media make great play over alleged anti-semitism in the labour party, whilst clear evidence of the Tories supporting Islamaphobic candidates goes unchallenged. I wonder why.

Those loveable Tories are at it again....
“ A Conservative candidate has told voters that disabled people and those with learning disabilities should be paid less because some "don't understand money".
Sally-Ann Hart, the Tory candidate for the marginal seat of Hastings and Rye, was met with jeers and boos when she made the comments at an election hustings this week.”
I’ve no idea who Sally Ann Hart is but if I had to guess, given her outdated attitude, she’s white and at least 50...

Objection. Not all of us on the last leg of life have such neanderthal attitudes as this excuse for a human being. That attitude is standard Tory, common to their members and supporters alike.
