He knows nothing of what he speaks.

I actually do believe him. I believe he hasn't read or reviewed anything of substance around his own plans. The things he says and promises are testament to that.

I laughed last night when a journalist questioned him at an event he was speaking at, asking him to admit there will be tax rises. She pointed out there were increases in revenue in the assumptions printed in their own manifesto. He said it's not true, they are a tax cutting party...go figure.

It's down to who do I trust more. I trust Corbyn to ruin us, I don't trust Johnson not to. Hobson's choice. Yet only one of them has a chance to win a majority. Choice made I'd say? Precisely why I'm voting tactically.

Those loveable Tories are at it again.... “ A Conservative candidate has told voters that disabled people and those with learning disabilities should be paid less because some "don't understand money". Sally-Ann Hart, the Tory candidate for the marginal seat of Hastings and Rye, was met with jeers and boos when she made the comments at an election hustings this week.” I’ve no idea who Sally Ann Hart is but if I had to guess, given her outdated attitude, she’s white and at least 50... I thought it was only the ‘right’ that made generalisations and racial stereotypes

"I am in favour of people of colour coming to this country but I think we should have it democratically controlled" Boris Johnson - today. We are through the looking glass now. For context what was the exact wording of the question that led to this response? edit - just read further and understand it was a typical C4 trick. I wonder whether it was deliberate? By the time it’s taken down it’s already been distributed by the left and quickly becomes fact. Sad times.

We cannot expect communications between governments departments, can we. So the Treasury, under the auspices of one Mr S Javid, is producing forecasts with no input from other Government departments...I thought so.

Who would have thought it Senior British diplomat in US quits with tirade over Brexit 'half-truths' flip.it/C6Z85uI think this line from the article sums it up.... "An official at the Foreign Office, who was not authorized to brief the press, confirmed that Hall Hall had resigned but had not seen her letter."

It's a document that someone in the Treasury has put together, and then someone else within that department has leaked it. There is nothing to say the document is official nor part of government policy.

I actually do believe him. I believe he hasn't read or reviewed anything of substance around his own plans. The things he says and promises are testament to that. The GATT 24 question by Andrew Neil during the Tory leadership contest was a good example of that. “You haven’t read it have you?” “No”.

On advice of the police? Were they worried that Johnson's arrogance might be challenged by 5 protesters? Pathetic. He's running scared.

Still running (away) General election: Anger as Boris Johnson refuses to attend his own constituency hustings flip.it/Upei2nSo what? What are the consequences? I think we’ve just taken it for granted that people do these things out of a sense of duty and fair play and it isn’t until someone breaks with that convention that you realise that there are no consequences for failing to engage or be held accountable. It’s why Johnson lies more than any other politician in our lifetimes. He knows that whatever he does there are zero consequences, certainly whilst Corbyn is around. Corbyn gets one last chance tonight and if I was him I’d just hammer on Johnson’s trust worthiness, his tangible record of duplicity, suppressed Russia report, avoidance of scrutiny etc. Just make it all about Johnson, there is enough ammo there to sink a battleship.
