200 away tickets Sold. Shouldn’t be a problem looking scarce on TV, it’s in the far corner of the ground, on the end of the terrace behind the left hand goal. For those that remember the crumbling, barb wired fenced in away ends of yesteryear, this is more of the same but similar size to a holding pen. I can't wait

Not confident about tonight, really hope I'm wrong.
GC interview suggests those returning from injury won't play, so no JCH, THD, Ollie Clarke, Tom Davies. 3G pitch surely also means no sliding tackles, unless the players want to rip their legs to apart, and it also suggests different shoes. Whenever I've played on 3G I've worn specific "Astro turf" trainers which are just flat on the bottom (no studs). Then there will be all the little black bits filling all the players shoes!!
Also assume Anssi will not be back yet or just returned, which isn't a bad thing as think "shot stopper" (Van Stappershoef) is just as capable, but it does limit our options further.

Anyone know a pub showing the game in Fishponds/Downed. Asked in the Old Post Office last night and they were not that keen. They said they will only show game if there is not a big game on! They had the Sunderland Trophy Semi Final on there, plenty of TVs so shouldn't be a problem

I miss a bottle or two of Baileys but it screws with the bloody Crohns. I used to top it up with some brandy or whiskey. Lovely stuff A top Christmas drink is a BBW. Doubles of Bailey's, Brandy and Whiskey. Never tried that but I will now. Thanks as I would never have thought of mixing brandy and whiskey

I’m sure it will be the moulded stud for all tonight, as opposed to the traditional metal ones.

Apologies in advance for the standard of, and the facilities within, the Away end for you tonight. If its any conciliation the probability of a Home fan getting a drink, food or going to the toilet is virtually nil also with a sell out crowd confirmed, and the number of outlets available. It is what it is, I am afraid.
On Saturday, they had also erected 3 TV Towers on the far terrace, which certainly wont help the view, that said this will also effect the Bromley fans at the other end of the same.
Have a safe journey and best wishes.

Thanks as I would never have thought of mixing brandy and whiskey The game is being shown at the Mem and the development team are playing in the GFA cup quarter final v Cheltenham on the pitch from 7pm. Good chance to see the up and coming players that are not included in the first team squad for tonight. Could include the likes of Walker, Warwick, Phillips, Kavanagh etc and help the club financially over the bar. Free admission, I believe.

Check. Welcome to our World fella. And we're League 1 for crying out loud.

Not confident either, but I use to enjoy playing on 3g pitches. I expect we have trained on them during the winter, so I don't think the pitch is too much of problem.

For once, just once can we not make an embarrassment of ourselves against a non league team, especially in front of the cameras with thousands of people watching? I’ll be tuning in with lowest hopes of us doing so, prove me wrong please gas!

Just read GC's pre-match interview in the Post. He mentions that some players will not be able to play on the 3g pitch for "medical or personal reasons".
Now I can understand the medical reasons, but what was his reference to personal reasons about?

Now I can understand the medical reasons, but what was his reference to personal reasons about? That will probably be THD. He did his cruciate at Pompey when he ran off the edge of the pitch onto the AstroTurf around the edge causing his knee to go. He's mentioned about AstroTurf should be banned on twitter.
