Jaakkola 5.5 Should have done better on at least one of their goals
Menayese 7.5 Another solid, strong performance Craig 8 Commanding display in defence and great header to open the scoring Kilgour 7 Reliable workmanlike performance, unlucky not to have scored and lucky not give away a pen after tugging the attackers arm
Little 7 Good performance going forward and showed some skills. Defensively could have been better. Upson 6.5 Decent enough Ogogo 8.5 Back to his best, worked tirelessly and deserved his goal Leahy 7.5 Growing in stature, plenty of involvement going forward
Clarke 8 Hardworking display with some great moments, just a few careless passes but I was a fan of his today Sercombe 8 Back near his best, linked well with OC to support the attack
Adeboyejo 7 Worked hard was pretty decent
Subs: Smith 7.5 Very lively when he came on, instrumental in our winner Rodman 5.5 OK but a couple of poor crosses Holmes-Dennis Nole
Crowd 9 Gasheads very loud and went home happy Ref 4 A tough one to marshall but didn't help himself at times Shrewsbury 4 Pretty poor, especially at the back.

Attachment DeletedJaakkola. 5.Doesn't command his area enough for me.Culpable for their third goal because of it. Rollinn 8.Solid and reliable Craig.8 Great yet again. kilgour.7 Always commits a faux pas when he misses the ball completely and does an air shot. This time it happened late in the game.Otherwise good. Little.5.5.defensive positioning wayward.Better attacking down the left. Upson 6 .Great first half but hardly had a touch second half and a late very sloppy pass gave them possession. Ogogo.7.Gave his all and improved as the game went on.Great winning goal. Leahy.7.Heavily involved.Does give me the odd worry with his lack of pace at times. Clarke.7.5 Better. Sercombe.9 M O M. Shrews Sercombsised Victor. 7.5 Worked his socks off Shrews 6.amused that every substitution, goal etc resulted in 'This substitution is sponsored by........' GC 8 -- Tyler Smith 7.5.Did well .Looked fast which we'd lacked previously and beat their right back with ease.Involved directly with goal no'4. Rodders and Holmes-Dennis N O L E Crowd.Met some great people.9 Ref 8.Tough when it got nasty following their player diving attempting to get a pen but Ref was right up with play and wasn't conned.Great advantage rulr leading to our winner.

Jaakkola 6 maybe not his best game but there were still several timely interventions and his distribution was improved. Safer than JVS. Little 5.5 was good going forward but less effective in his primary role in defence, although in fairness to him he’d taken a couple of knocks that appeared to cut his pace/mobility down. Kilgour 6 restricting the opposition to just six shots suggests a decent defensive shift, that three of them resulted in goals suggests the opposite! Was the shakiest of the back 3. Craig 7.5 started the goalfest with a set piece header and nursed his younger compadres through a couple of tough spells. Menayese 6.5 looks like a world beater one minute and then gives silly free kicks away the next, displaying his youth and inexperience Leahy 6 another curate’s egg performance from Luke Ogogo 7 tackled tigerishly and placed the winner calmly under pressure Clarke 8.5 best he’s looked for a long while, won most of his fifty-fifty encounters and used the ball intelligently and with a forward looking attitude Sercombe 8 another one finally looking like he’s found some form Upson 7 calm head, recycled the ball well and cut out some threatening moves Adeboyejo 7 occupied their defenders to good effect
Smith 7 injected some much needed pace Rodman NOLE but shored up the right side in his brief appearance against a former side THD NOLE
Crowd 8 Ref 4; Shrewsbury 4 clearly not at their defensive best as they are usually tough to score against, nevertheless they nearly pulled off a dramatic fight back when they brought on the impressive Giles to overrun the struggling Little.
Sitting in Shrewsbury hospitality looking glumly at a JCH-less team sheet we were contemplating that a nil nil draw was on the cards and the best we could hope for. Delighted they proved us wrong.

This was the worst refereeing performance of the season at 3.75, just edging out the 3.80 for the Burton away game.
The starting XI average was 6.80.
