Don't forget the youth team play Southampton on Wednesday 7pm.
Not sure of admission prices but usually kid a quid and should be a decent game.

Should be a good game. Hopefully a few first steamers come along to support.
Saints should be good, but I expect our boys to give it a real good go.
Should be a proper cup game.
Let's hope they get over 500 there supporting the gas.
Might have a chance of winning the 50/50 as well!

Any reports on this ? Didn't go myself and we lost 3-1 but I'd be interested in opinion.
On the upside my 6 year old nephew attended his first game, I'll get his opinions tomorrow.

Former Rovers player Paul Hardyman is the Saints U18 coach.

No disgrace losing 3-1 to a Southampton side with one of the best production lines in the country.
Parinello talked about the Saints number 8 who "cost 500k", but it's my understanding that with clauses the fee for Jankewitz would rise to over £1 mil, which is probably more than our entire youth budget.
Their sub Ramello Mitchell, who came on tonight, was signed from Birmingham in the summer ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool who both wanted him.

Walker looked good and Phillips looked to get in the box for the few chances we had.
Saints no 2 and 8 were very impressive.
There was no tannoy, but if you didn't hear me shout out at half time, the 50/50 was won by Mr A Wiltshire from Fishponds, with the monies raised being added to the 50/50 fund to help develop more of our own into the first team squad.

Walker looks very promising, hopefully he can make the odd cameo appearance in the first team before the end of the season, he's quick play him out wide and see what he can do. In fairness they had 3 youth internationals in their team so all in all good effort from youngsters and no disgrace. I enjoyed the game, well done Tom Parrinello for the work he has put in
