I am looking forward to hearing from the goal keeping coach again to get an update on who the club are looking at bringing in as cockers replacement. Easy for a moan I know but what would the point have been of rolling out Starnes when GC isn't even technically gone yet? They're still obviously sorting compo etc so sending out someone who knows next to nothing about the situation was probably the best way forward. I'm struggling to back the board but I don't see any point in Starnes talking until GC is fully gone. |

There is no way back for GC, he has been approached by Mansfield, he obviously has told the club he wants to leave. Let's move on and get a replacement lined up to get to work Immediately. I said he's still here though so pointless for one of the board to attend a press conference where they act say anything. In before someone says "they won't say anything anyway". Because having a senior member of staff on hand at the most important times is the right thing to do. It shows leadership and good management when the top person is prepared to deal with difficult questions. That's what they are paid for. It was obvious that questions about GC were going to be asked. Tucker was completely thrown under the bus, but fair play to him he appeared to have done well. Sorry Rich, I like you and almost always agree with everything you post but I still cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can defend this one. |

I have supported GC since Day one ....
But the way he has conducted himself has been appalling. I have worked away from home for 15 years ... have a young family but you do it to make the best of what you have.
An emotionally unintelligent man who has made a huge career move error but will sugar coat it as being near to family ...
Graham you could have been a great ... you will work that out in the next five years !
