Get in!! To any gashead that has loved to moan about the style of football played by us this season. Maybe you’ve lost touch with what football should be about. Performances and results like tonight is what creates a team spirit and I’d rather watch Kilgour, Craig and Menayese throw their bodies on the line and die for the cause than watch a contrived style of football played by a bunch of pre Madonnas. Chuffing love it!!!! Agreed. My attitude is that you soon run out of luck playing like that but we have played like that all season and it’s not stopped us yet so let’s see if we can ride it for 4 more months... |

Great result for the team and the club with the financial benefit too.
Crazy free kick to give away at the end, but bodies on the line again.
The squad is really being tested with all these games and the injuries we have.

My god we are sh** but it really is effective isn’t it.
I have to say that referee was excellent. The tool from the first tie would’ve given them two penalties tonight.

We never looked like scoring with JCH out, but the last few games have proved otherwise.

They say winning when not at your best is the sign of a good team. We are only going to get stronger with the likes of Ogogo, Little, JCH, THD, Hare and Clarke to come back into the fold.

Whatever the result tonight - play like this on Saturday and Posh will have an easy 3 points. To be fair we played a bit like this on Saturday and won at Ipswich. Our game has been let the opposition have it and defend in good shape for a while now. We do need to get hold and keep the ball better when we do have it. If anything Mayor and Moore are playing better than Ipswich midfield/wingers did - with more width. What we are missing from Saturday is that bit of steel in midfield without Ollie or Ogogo. Like a lot of things in my life....I was a bit premature there. 🤭 |
