For me the best ever tonight in my lifetime watching the Gas Amazing save by Jaakkola.

The one he tipped onto the bar against Southend was pretty tidy as well. Nigel Martyn pulled off a blinder back in the last century at Twerton. I think it was against Reading. Rocket volley from 15 yards tipped round the post

Can't really remember 1 'best ever' save, but I remember a game in which Conrad Logan made about 4 or 5 really good ones, not ones you'd expect most keepers at that level to make. Plays for Mansfield now would you believe.

Nigel Martyn used to make saves that made you think "How was that possible?". Likewise, Jim Eadie used to defy gravity to such an extent that Stephen Hawking couldn't work it out.

Just seen Jaakkola’s save again , incredible. If that was in the premier league it would definitely be a contender for save of the season.

Brian Parkin's 2 finger save at the old Wembley against Huddersfield was a great save. But Jakks save tonight was the best I've seen 😮

I don't think this will count as it happened in the warm up before kick off! Fraser Forster! I can't remember who took the shot but it was from about 25-30 yards out and it was curling in the top corner and I mean right in the corner. I was in perfect line of it. Then somehow, to this very day I have no idea how he did it, Forster got his finger tips to it and tip it wide. It was so good and unbelievable that those in the stand behind the goal gave it a round of applause and hearing people talk around us, so many people were in awe over it. But if we are counting in game only then tonight for sure!

Just seen on Rovers official twitter page , a video clip at a much better angle which shows it wasn’t over the line & he has indeed made a fantastic save.

Jim Eadie v The sh**, Good Friday 1976, Eastville.
The boy Tainton from point blank range in front of the Tote. The Flying Pig had already gone the wrong way, and he turned in mid air.
Absolute genius of a save. He was a big lump too!
