£7,500 fine for what must be our first offence of this kind, how steep is that for an L1 club, wouldn't a suspended fine equally have served it's purpose? We’re not Bolton are we. Nah, Bolton would be allowed to defer payment for 6 months before being able to pay it off in £1 instalments.

Nice one Hugo. May be too subtle for the brain dead in question. It's like we've gone back in time. Monkey noises, homophobic chants etc. Football has gone mad. What's wrong with people? Well our government is racist and homophobic and they were overwhelmingly voted in so I guess people think they’ve got the right to behave like this and can get away with it. You reap what you sow.

Regardless of whether or not people think this is still ok, (it isn't), they should know by now that it's likely to get the club into trouble.

Brazil is even going the same way, USA has been for some time , Trump getting in to power has led the way.

I just don’t understand how you can be homophobic to a town it’s not an individual person.

Let's keep off the broader political debate, please. If you want to have a debate about perceived right or left wing shifts in the political climate generally, take it to GC (not the bloke who just f**ked off to Mansfield, the General Chat forum).
Thank you.

My brother in law was with my sister for over twenty years, they had two children. She suspected he was having an affair so together with her daughter followed him to a car park, waited a while then went over and opened the car door to find him having sex with another man. My sister took it well and infact they are still friends, my nephew could not deal with it though and he went to pieces and was killed in a an accident while drunk on his pushbike before they could reconcile. After initially wanting to punch his lights out my sister talked to me and made me see that he tried to be straight and hide his true feelings because of society back then. He wouldn't have to these days and all the trouble to himself and people he cared for wouldn't have happened. Live and let live.

When the Prime Minister of the country feels empowered to say homophobic and racist things - it should come as no surprise there will be a cascade effect across society.

Why would a homophobe vote for the Civil Partnerships Bill and to end the ban on same sex sex education in schools? Silly and baseless media narrative.

Serious question, and I already know this is going to be controversial, but if we were ever to play Spurs at home, do you think Lance would refrain from saying “I smell gas” and the scoreboard identify us as Rovers or Pirates to avoid any misunderstanding?

Is this like where you say "I can't be racist - I have black friends"? He has voted in a way to be popular, I am sure.. the real tell is when he opens up on his true feelings (like when he called gay people "tank top bum boys")
