There have been chants vs Brighton my entire time following rovers from a kid to an adult. Nobody thinks anything of it and it’s just a joke like northern slums or chanting England at welsh teams. I hate the world we live in and I hate how you cannot say anything without being judged. The chanting is never in a malicious way it’s just something that is associated with Brighton. Most people were brought up with chants I don’t think it makes them idiots. Like singing you're just a bus stop in Cornwall at Plymouth on Tuesday night. Will we get fined for that as well lol. |

Why would a homophobe vote for the Civil Partnerships Bill and to end the ban on same sex sex education in schools? Silly and baseless media narrative. Is this like where you say "I can't be racist - I have black friends"? He has voted in a way to be popular, I am sure.. the real tell is when he opens up on his true feelings (like when he called gay people "tank top bum boys") And this is where I counter that we have a government (as was the original point made) of over 300 ministers a cabinet with 20 odd ministers voted for by 14 million people. The idea that we have a racist homophobic government is media narrative. |

When the Prime Minister of the country feels empowered to say homophobic and racist things - it should come as no surprise there will be a cascade effect across society. Last time I checked Sajid Javid was Chancellor, Priti Patel was Home Secretary and James Cleverly was Chairman of the Tory Party. Has that changed? Don't think so. Hardly the National Front is it!!!! |
