Jaakola: 8. Two good saves although possibly fortunate that the spill in the first half wasn't punished (thanks to thr linesman's flag).
Menayese: 8. He is a beast! Strong and developing well, although Posh's sub gave him some tricky moments.
Craig: 10. The perfect centre half performance. Can there be anyone left who doubts his contribution. Quality.
Kilgour: 8.5. This lad will outgrow us and go to the Championship at least. I just hope we get what he's worth. Another assured performance.
Rodman: 8. Some good moments from Rodders today and was a threat throughout.
Clarke: 7. Despite comments on the matchday thread, I though there were plenty of signs that he was getting back to form today. That said, he was lucky to avoid a second booking.
Upson: 7.5. Good solid midfield general's performance.
Sercombe: 9. The pick of the midfield for me. Lively and hardworking throughout.
Leahy: 7. Crossing was poor but contributed hugely to another excellent defensive performance.
Nichols: 7. Lively and linked well with Smith. Great that he retains support from the terraces.
Smith: 7. Will be a very good player in a couple of years. Worked hard again today and was a good signing.
JCH: 6. Clearly not fit. I wonder if we just need to leave him out until he can have the belated pre-season he missed.
Adeboyejo: NOLE.
Most pleasing aspect for me was the blunting of Posh's quality attack. Maddison is for me the best player in the division and Toney is an obvious goal threat (although might be more of one if he tries standing up occasionally). Eisa looked intimidated by Alfie throughout. They didn't score and two were substituted, which is testament to our back 3.

Peterborough 8. Some quality players, but the diving by several of them was ridiculous.
A fantastic fighting team performance from the lads from start to finish.
A well deserved point against a very dangerous side. After the events off the field this week the players and backroom staff deserve every credit.
Was also great to see the crowd also giving their best performance for a very long time. Keep it up!

Menayese 8 Some distribution errors, but so many timely tackles and interceptions.
Craig 9.5 Like Gandalf in the mines of Morir ("You shall not pass!")
Kilgour 8.5 This was a masterclass from three superb central defenders at this level.
Rodman 7.5 Determined in attack and defence.
Upson 8.5 Awesome in the first half, merely good in the second.
Clarke 7 Driving but temprement dodgy. We all know who should be captain. (Clue: cloak, pointy hat, staff.)
Sercombe 9 Absolutely loved this performance.
Drive, trickery, vision. Sercs unchained!
Leahy 7 Competent.
Nichols 7 Played really well today, fair do's
Smith 7 Tireless
Subs: Clarke-Harris 6.5 Tired.
Adeboyejo 6 Not much impact.
Crowd 9 That's more like it! The family terrace making a right old racket too!
Ref 5 sh**.
Peterborough 7.5 Really good, but not good enough to get through the wall.
Despite the scoreline, my favourite match this season. We played excellent football (like peak DC era at times) the defence was awesome and the mem was rocking. A great afternoon out!

Jaakkola 8 - a few mistakes but some vital saves
Menayese 7.5 - quite a few errors but never panicked and often redeemed the situation. Still on a learning curve.
Craig 9.5 - immense - should be captain
Kilgour 8.5 - continues to impress
Rodman 8 - a constant threat in attack and some good defensive work as well
Upson 7.5 - a hardworking performance
Clarke 6.5 - tried hard and did show some glimpses of his old form. 99% of the time would have been sent off for a second yellow caused by a lack of concentration.
Sercombe 8 - played in his best position. Was imposing and mark would of been higher if it was not for his wayward shooting.
Leahy 7.5 - steady performance
Nichols 7.5 - showed good control and effort
Smith 6 - tried and has pace but needs to do better
Subs: Clarke-Harris 6.5 - clearly not fit but does make a difference when he is on the pitch
Adeboyejo 6
Crowd 9 - great atmosphere
Ref 6 - not as bad as others thought
Peterborough 7 - good bet for promotion

Great style of play from the boys, very exciting, I can't remember a time we passed the ball back to the keeper when there was space to go forward. Hopefully the new manager doesn't take the style back to what it's been over the last 12 months.

Jaakkola 8.5 a couple of spills but otherwise a commanding performance Menayese 7.5 first touch a bit shaky but a decent game nonetheless Craig 9 M.o.M virtually faultless the glue that holds it all together Kilgour 8 a strong display Rodman 8.5 he's really growing into the wing back role Upson 8 worked hard, much better than of late Clarke 7 decent but he must really curb the impetuous streak that is being exposed far too often Sercombe 8.5 a sparkling performance , all it lacked was a goal Leahy 8 probably his best game so far in a Rovers shirt. Nichols 8 excellent link up play , great first touch and hold up play. Smith 7 ran his socks off Subs: Clarke-Harris 7 not fit but as our talisman is a vital cog in the team. Adeboyejo 6.5 not on long but put himself about. Crowd 9 a good turn out on black Saturday ,they got behind the team. Ref 5 average third division ,we've had worse. Peterborough 8 a good side, they will be in the end of season shake-up 6.5 |

For me, it was a great seeing another defensive display. I think the whole unit back 6 deserved their high scores, even though Rollin looked shaky in possession (did they try to do a number on him as it appeared he was targeted?)... and I thought Leahy seems to improve every game cementing his place as the go to left sided wing back. Even Nichols covered everywhere.

Results in and Tony Craig was Man of the Match with a score of 8.94.
This was Craig's best ever rating in his 91 games in these threads. In fact, Craig has broken his record in each of the last three games. Before then his best was an 8.1 against Charlton last season. He improved that to 8.2 against Ipswich, 8.4 against Plymouth and now 8.9 against Peterborough.
Every single player scored above 6 for the second consecutive league game. This is the fourth time that has happened. The others were Newport/Cambridge and York/Dagenham in 15/16 and Plymouth/Northampton in 17/18.
The starting XI average was 7.50.
The combined total of the Rovers' average and the opposition average was 15.1 the fourth highest such match in these threads. The three higher matches came in the back half of the League Two promotion season against Oxford (15.3), Wimbledon (15.2) and Dagenham (15.6)
